THE FACE SHOP MIRACLE FINISH OIL CONTROL CUSHION
Hey guys!!! So I’ve been trying out different cushions since last year, and I think this is the first cushion that I am putting in this blog. So if you ever have questions, pls feel free to comment down below, or leave a message 😊
(You may notice that I always give a positive review. It’s because, I bought this product, and before I bought it, I really check if I can use it and has a good effect so I won't waste money.😊 )
There are a lot of Korean cushions nowadays and it varies on its finish. Most of it are dewy, but there are some brands that offer semi-matte to a really matte finish. Most of them also gives a light to medium coverage, only few has a medium to heavy coverage, as far as I have tried. 😇
CUSHIONS are like your traditional compact powder, but instead of a pressed powder, you will see AA/BB/CC cream-infused cushion. Unlike the usual cream in a bottle or tube, the cream is already infused in the cushion, so you’ll just have to press your face puff in the cushion and pat it on your face. 😊
I’ve tried different kinds of cushion and they all have one thing in common - it doesn’t feel heavy. It doesn’t feel like makeup at all, unlike foundation. It has coverage, can be used for daily makeup, but korean cushions doesn’t clog my pores. It feels like a moisturizer with a coverage.
Take a look at this packaging...
It has a nice golden color on the sides, and greyish color on the top. Super neat and vintage looking.
Inside, you can see the puff and a separate compartment for the cushion itself.
Oh by the way, I am in the shade V201 Apricot Beige.
This cushion costs Php 1,095.00. And when I bought this, they have a buy one free refill promo. So I saved P595.00 for the refill. 👍🏻😇
Here is my bare face. (I only put EtudeHouse Tone Up Pudding Cream as moisturizer)
You can see my veins that are visible in my cheeks.
After applying the cushion just one layer...
You may notice that my face was brightened and it covered the veins.
It also has a mild floral scent. And I can say that it can provide light to medium coverage. It also has a semi-matte finish. Just a tip for those with oily skin, try not to put moisturizer before wearing this because your face might oil up more. As for my skin, I have a normal to combination skin so I only put moisturizer on areas that doesn’t oil up fast, like my cheeks. My T-Zone oils up faster esp because of the weather in the Philippines.
THE WEAR TEST:
I only apply cushion once a day before I leave the house, and it doesn’t feel cakey . Whenever I oil up, I just blot with a tissue or a blotting sheet, and then apply a translucent powder. It looks like I’m wearing no make up but my skin looks flawless.And it can last throughout the day.

I like this product because it gave me the light to medium coverage that I want in a cushion. I don’t want my daily makeup to look heavy. It also have a semi-matte finish which I also like so I won’t look too dry and too dewy. Just the perfect balance. I would recommend this to people who likes a no makeup-makeup look, and for daily use. This cushion can last for a maximum of 3months with daily use. So I think it’s value for money since I have a free refill. 😊
(They also have different colors in their cushion case, I also have the black one which looks more vintage 💕)
1. Packaging: Super cute! The gold color makes it pop.
2. Scent: I like its mild floral scent.
3. Effect: Use this on a daily basis or a casual look, but I’m not recommending this for a party look, it doesn’t have that much coverage. I cannot say that it really controlled the oil in my face, but I can say that the oil doesn't show up fast like the usual 😂
4. Cost-Benefit: I will buy this product again :)
