Ughh I'm sorry I haven't posted in forever.
The SJWs on here absolutely killed Tumblr for me.
I am SORRY if the color of my skin offends you. I APOLOGIZE if me enjoying the Korean culture even though I'm not Korean makes you sad. But I'm not going to stop enjoying something that's perfectly acceptable just because it hurts your feelings.
Grow up, children. The world doesn't revolve around your childish idea of equality. You can't discriminate against one group just to make yourself feel better or to feel like you're delivering justice.
I'm sure I'll be back eventually, but for now I'm done. I can enjoy K-Pop without high schoolers telling me I'm too white and privileged and fetishistic to love the music I've grown up with.
And to the people who have been telling me these things: I hope you're having fun. Nothing you say will ever make me change who I am. Someday you'll understand that you're the problem. Until then, I have better things to do than sit around and listen to you all complaining. You're not changing the world for the better. At all.
TL;DR: About 65% of the people on this website need a hobby.
Edit: Backstory because a lot of people are assuming I used a racial slur or something (which is never okay). There was a blog that told a girl she was racist for wanting to learn Korean. I said that it wasn't fair, that there's nothing wrong with appreciating the beauty of a language and it's structure, and of the ingenuity that went into its development. Regardless of the language, people should be allowed to learn whatever they want. All it does is make the world a little easier to communicate in.
A lot of SJW's decided that I was a racist for learning something my "white self" wasn't born into. Which is stupid. Of course, a lot of these people were raised in very different environments, and it's difficult for me to accept that they won't understand the situation. However, I'd like to take this as a chance to explain that a lot of people on Tumblr like to get upset about things that aren't worth getting upset about, which takes away from very valid discussions about racism and culture.
Learning a language is not racist. Attacking someone for the color of their skin is. I like to think that everyone will learn this one day. :)
