Her head snapped around at the sound of his voice. He had obviously flown into the window she had dedicated for such a purpose. Upon seeing him, and the bundle in his arms, Kara’s eyes widened. She didn’t question how he was here, obviously, Winn had said something when he went back, and honestly she didn’t need too. The two of them had always had an odd sixth sense for one another. The chair she was sitting in falls to the floor as she moves with superspeed over to him. There’s barely enough time for him to put whatever he brought down before Kara is nearly tackling him to the ground, her arms wrapping around him tightly, as if he was going to disappear from her grasp.

“I don’t know how you’re here, but I’m glad you are.” Her mumble was quiet with emotion against his neck.

He had indeed come in through the window she kept open for her own use. He figured it was faster and didn’t think she would have minded. He can’t hide his smile at seeing her smile and moved to the couch to set everything down so he could hug her. But the instant he was stood back upright, he was nearly knocked over as Kara super-sped over to him. His arms automatically wrapped around her as she hugged him tight.

“Winn might have said something,” he chuckled. “But I’m here,” he sobered, “I’m here now.” He was thankful he was super powered too, or he would have been crushed by now. He reached up with one hand, tangling his fingers in her hair as he tried to soothe her obviously frayed emotions.
