we could have had an entire season of them like this. sticking together post s3 finale, killing twelve members, deepening their relationship, being happy, realizing they're meant to be over the course of episodes. an organic, earned romance.

instead we got no explanation for their separation and animosity after the bridge, plentiful screentime and an entire episode spent on a character who's getting their own show, a new assassin who essentially served no purpose other than to give Konstantin something to do, an unremarkable shock value death of a remarkable character, and rushed fanservice in the final episode between two "fated" characters who never even got the time to truly sit down and talk.

there's a segment of the fandom that ships Barbarena romantically but refers to them as Selena (Barb) and Taylor (Maca) so they can talk about them in the tags now that they're apparently both single without getting caught and i just

it sure is! here's just one example I found

"Andrea [Betty], mother of Selena, is following Taylor [on Instagram], mother of Taylor liked a video which says Taylena [Barbarena] is real, Taylor broke up with Harry [Ghassan] and is letting it go (?), Selena broke up with Justin [Gonzalo] and deleted their story of love [Barb removed all of their IG stories together]...nothing is coincidence."

While it's true that Betty is now following Maca and likes a lot of untagged "Barbarena Es Real" posts (same goes for Maca's mom), it is currently only speculation that the girls broke up with their boyfriends.

It's also, frankly, none of our business. Fans have been compiling "evidence" and it's only a matter of time before it blows up in their faces and makes the girls uncomfortable with us/each other.

I am not positive about Maca and Ghassan, fans are speculating from her IG posts and comments from her close friends about starting fresh and new beginnings. I believe she has also unfollowed him.

As for Barbie, she deleted her IG story collection of her and Gonzalo, and Gonzalo removed every single picture he had of/with Barbie from his IG.

Again, not really our business at all, but I do hope they're ok if it's true.
