Airi poked her head into chuuya's study, she had been meaning to ask him about some new baking recipes but she couldn't find her mother anywhere

Chuuya appeared seemingly out of nowhere.

"oh I just wanted to know if you would try my new banana bread recipe! I added chocolate and used rum instead of vanilla since we were out and we were out of eggs so I used mayonnaise"

She smiled up at him brightly, she seemed so proud of herself that she could barely contain her excitement.

"oo, of course I would try it!"

Chuuya likes trying things, even if his weird taste buds don't work with him sometimes. However, hopefully it doesn't taste like sugar to him...

"yippe!! Alright come on"

She grabbed ahold of him arm and started to practically drag him down the hallway. It was a good thing she wasn't wearing one of her longer dresses otherwise she would have practically tripped on it with how fast she was walking.

"I've also been trying to work on a sort of scotch flavored cake....it hasn't been going well but trial and error as they say!"

"sounds good, sweetheart"

Chuuya smiles, he's a very supportive mother.

for a second she froze when she realized how she was dragging him harshly, she looked away a little nervously

"sorry I forgot my manners for a second"

She let go of his wrist and took to walking beside him and looking at him with a slight questioning gaze.

"how has your day been ma"

"it's fine. You were excited is all"

Chuuya smiles patting her head.

"it was boring to say the least. None of my children were talking to me until now."

He pouted.

"well, anyway, my darling child, how has your day been?"

He smiled

"well before I started baking I was in the library trying to find something to read... then I realized I've read almost everything...twice already"

Her experience grew a little sour at the thought, they had such a big library yet she's read everything so much she's grown bored of it. If anything she doesn't wanna just read stories anymore she actually wants to go out and experience the world.

"That's not good."

Chuuya shook his head. He thought for a moment.

"I know!"

He smiled then proceeded to pick her up like he would when she was much younger - he's still upset that she's all grown up now.

"Why don't I take you to a bigger library than my own?"

He smiles.

she let out a small squeal and hugged him tightly

"ma! That sounds awesome!! We should make a whole trip out of it!"

She giggled slightly at the thought of a big trip with chuuya, especially since they hadn't been on one in forever.

"That's a wonderful idea."

Chuuya smiled and then pats her head.

"Why don't you go get ready? Hm."

"sounds good to me..you can try my banana bread while I go change!"

She smiled brightly and quickly took off to her room.

"be back soon!!"

"Okay darling"

Chuuya looked for a bread knife and cut himself a small piece of banana bread - he was happy it didn't taste completely like sugar.

Once he finished the slice of banana bread, he decided he himself should go change so he went into his own room.

it took almost thirty minutes before she actually started getting dressed (she just couldn't choose what outfit to wear) but she finally settled on a shorter dress that was purple with some black lace. She put on some black stockings then a smaller pair of heels, once that was all on she grabbed a hat and her sun umbrella.

"I'm all ready! Are you ma?"

She walked down the stairs to see him waiting for her

Chuuya had worn black dress pants, a white button up, and a black and red suit vest. He held his parasol - it was closed.

"Mhm"

He hummed with a smile.

"yay I'm so excited to go out! What library are we going to anyway?"

She hopped right up to him and stood by the door, she was being a little cautious since she'd rather not get burned on such a great day

Chuuya put sunscreen on himself then Airi.

"There's a library somewhere here in Yokohama, so I'm going to take you there."

He hummed.

"yay I'm so excited for this! Maybe we can even stop for lunch or something"

Once the sunscreen was on them both she happily and slowly opened the door and opened her parasol.

"wow....what a horribly bright day...it's perfect"

"I prefer when it's about to rain."

Chuuya nodded and hummed.

"I'll think about stopping somewhere."

"when it's snowing it's the best..nice and cold"

Once she stepped outside she narrowed her eyes slightly as the sun glared down on them both. It looked like it would be clear skies all day, which wasn't the best but oh well not like they planned to stay outside long.

"I know eating human food doesn't really do much for us..but it's nice to think I'm normal sometimes.....no offense ma"

"You can still eat human food silly girl."

Chuuya snorted rubbing her head and intentionally messing up her hair.

"Think about it this way, at least you have an insane spice tolerance."

He said with a smile.

He then started walking to Yokohama to find the library.

"true!...while I'm thinking about it...think I would still have an allergic reaction to Mangos? I haven't had it since I was a human"

she followed beside him just a few steps behind him, she honestly loved when they go out even if they risk getting burned.

"I'm pretty sure you would. So let's not try mangos."

Chuuya hummed.

As they walked Chuuya made sure she was holding her parasol in the way that would prevent the sun from touching her skin - at the same time making sure he had his own parasol in such a way. But he was mainly focusing on her because he didn't know if those who ever turned into a vampire had an increase in the possibility of dying from the sun and he didn't want to risk that.

As they walked a little bit further she quite a big building, probably not bigger than chuuyas Manor but still a decent size.

"is that the library!? If so it looks amazing!"

She could practically feel the joy bouncing off her as she took in the building, it was basic in structure with Brick walls, high winds and big doors. But even though basic she still quite liked the architecture.

"Yes, baby bear. It's the library."

Chuuya smiled, he was just happy to see her happy.

"this is so interesting, the architecture looks only 200 years old! I remember reading a few of the books back home about it"

As she walked up the steps she peaked at some of the designs atop the doors.

"wow...im so getting more books on architecture because some of these I don't even know about! Maybe I should get history books too"

"now you get to go inside the library instead of just reading about it."

Chuuya smiles.

she chuckled a little and dragged him in with her.

"how do you find what you need...this place is huge. Where do I even start"

She glanced around hoping there might be a sign of some sort but all she saw was a big filling cabinet next to a desk, or a single letter on all the bookshelves sides.

"Well there's different sections for different genres, see here."

Chuuya gestures to a sign that reads history in english, Japanese, and even brail.

"And every book is organized in alphabetical order by the author's last name."

He explained

"ahh....okay got it! Sooo ..do we split up now or.."

She trailed off at the end, she didnt really know how to tell him the truth. That she didn't really understand but just thought if she explored around she'd figure it out...hopefully.

Her experience grew a little sour at the thought, they had such a big library yet she's read everything so much she's grown bored of it. If anything she doesn't wanna just read stories anymore she actually wants to go out and experience the world.

He smiled then proceeded to pick her up like he would when she was much younger - he's still upset that she's all grown up now.

"Why don't I take you to a bigger library than my own?"

she let out a small squeal and hugged him tightly

"ma! That sounds awesome!! We should make a whole trip out of it!"

She giggled slightly at the thought of a big trip with chuuya, especially since they hadn't been on one in forever.

Chuuya smiled and then pats her head.

"Why don't you go get ready? Hm."

"sounds good to me..you can try my banana bread while I go change!"

She smiled brightly and quickly took off to her room.

Chuuya looked for a bread knife and cut himself a small piece of banana bread - he was happy it didn't taste completely like sugar.

Once he finished the slice of banana bread, he decided he himself should go change so he went into his own room.

it took almost thirty minutes before she actually started getting dressed (she just couldn't choose what outfit to wear) but she finally settled on a shorter dress that was purple with some black lace. She put on some black stockings then a smaller pair of heels, once that was all on she grabbed a hat and her sun umbrella.

"I'm all ready! Are you ma?"

She walked down the stairs to see him waiting for her

Chuuya had worn black dress pants, a white button up, and a black and red suit vest. He held his parasol - it was closed.

"There's a library somewhere here in Yokohama, so I'm going to take you there."

Once the sunscreen was on them both she happily and slowly opened the door and opened her parasol.

"wow....what a horribly bright day...it's perfect"

"I'll think about stopping somewhere."

Once she stepped outside she narrowed her eyes slightly as the sun glared down on them both. It looked like it would be clear skies all day, which wasn't the best but oh well not like they planned to stay outside long.

"I know eating human food doesn't really do much for us..but it's nice to think I'm normal sometimes.....no offense ma"

"Think about it this way, at least you have an insane spice tolerance."

she followed beside him just a few steps behind him, she honestly loved when they go out even if they risk getting burned.

As they walked Chuuya made sure she was holding her parasol in the way that would prevent the sun from touching her skin - at the same time making sure he had his own parasol in such a way. But he was mainly focusing on her because he didn't know if those who ever turned into a vampire had an increase in the possibility of dying from the sun and he didn't want to risk that.

"is that the library!? If so it looks amazing!"

She could practically feel the joy bouncing off her as she took in the building, it was basic in structure with Brick walls, high winds and big doors. But even though basic she still quite liked the architecture.

She grabbed ahold of him arm and started to practically drag him down the hallway. It was a good thing she wasn't wearing one of her longer dresses otherwise she would have practically tripped on it with how fast she was walking.

Her experience grew a little sour at the thought, they had such a big library yet she's read everything so much she's grown bored of it. If anything she doesn't wanna just read stories anymore she actually wants to go out and experience the world.

She put on some black stockings then a smaller pair of heels, once that was all on she grabbed a hat and her sun umbrella.
