Kayla had heard of Julian, having met his older brother Chan through Rebekah's husband Jalen who was the farmer's Adoptive Brother alongside Wes, but during every meeting Julian was never present, always busy with his music and production career. The show was a blast but Kayla couldn't keep her eyes off of Julian as he performed, his aura and his scent drew her in like a moth to a flame making something stir inside her that she had only felt once in her life with her high school boyfriend. This feeling was new, stronger, as if she were being pulled by invisible magnets toward this man to the point even her inner wolf stirred at the sight and smell of the vampire. Kayla followed Rebekah and Jalen backstage after the show, Wesley and Chan had already beat them to Julian's dressing room. The group entered and congratulated Julian on a fantastic show before Rebekah pushed me forward to introduce me as her best friend and platonic. "You're even hotter up close" Kayla blurts out before blushing when she realized she voiced her inner thoughts aloud.

Kayla blushed an even deeper shade of read as the handsome vampire called her beautiful and smiled back at him. "I've heard your music before tonight but never got the chance to see you perform. In fact I thought we'd never get to meet since you are never around when I am hanging out with Bekah and Jalen. I had alot of fun though, just the excitement I needed before school starts back and I'm stuck grading papers" she giggles. She inhaled his scent as he moved closer, her eyes flashing yellow briefly before she reigned her wolf in who took interest in the vampires scent. "I'm sorry about that" she says flustered at her eye slip.

Julian couldn’t help but take notice at Kayla’s flashing eyes, knowing that meant her wolf claimed him. “Ah a shifter I see, a dangerous combo.” He chuckles as he steps even closer, his scent invading her space. “Good to know you’re a fan of my work, I always am on the lookout for inspiration. Maybe you could be my muse.” He steps around her, circling her. “What’s the matter sweetheart? I’m sorry, Do I make you anxious?”
