okay so I have some THINGS to say! in “The Vault”, Shogo dies under the tree that becomes Finn and Jake’s treehouse right?

judging comparitively by the size of the amulet, the tree is definitely under 50 years old. And just for reference, remember that PB still looks the same age when she was with Shoko

nowww we have Finn and Jake’s treehouse:

that tree can’t be less than 1000 years old. It fits the base of an entire house on the bottom.

here’s a 500 year old tree for comparison.

and a 3000 year old tree.

ALL I’M TRYING TO SAY HERE is that a) PB has existed as an adult for realistically somewhere between 1000 and 2000 years b) Marceline and Simon are much older then 1000 years because they both existed before/right after the mushroom wars, and PB didn’t exist until after the pink goo from “Simon & Marcy” had started to become more sentient. finally c) Marceline and Princess Bubblegum are much closer in age and that horrible disturbing age gap that made there relationship really uncomfortable is close to meaningless right?

kinda morbid but have you taken in the fact that maybe Shogo's radiated corpse may have had some effect on the speed of the trees growth so maybe instead of taking 3000 years it only took 1000 years to get that big? just another theory xP

{Hey sorry. I was on a pretty bad hiatus. No, I've never shipped Finn and Marceline, I just don't think it's in either of their characters to actually want each other in that way. That being said I have read at least one amazing AU where the writer makes it work really well and in the moment, yeah, i totally shipped it xD. }
