Zoey climbed after the girl and keept looking at her reaction Zoey jumped to the highest place and sat down looking at her.

Katherine let out a long sigh, not feeling too surprised that the girl would be able to follow her so easily. “What now, then?”

Zoey looked at her “now we wait and see if anything happens” Zoey looked at the time it was 6:30 pm in the afternoon it was gonna be night soon and it would be cold.

Katherine let her eyes flutter shut, and she sat in silence for a while, just listening to the world around her. She didn’t feel all that different..

When her thoughts failed to give her any answers, she opened her eyes again, and looked at Zoey. “Could you explain any of this? Possibly explain what it is we’re waiting for? Is there anything specific that’s likely to happen?”

Zoey looked at Katherine with a consernd look “are you sure you wanna know?” Zoey looked out in the air and sighed “im making sure you are not dying”

“i have been here since i started in highschool here, its a nice place to relax” Zoey looked down into the ground and got tears in her eyes “i used to come here with jonathan until…… until he died……” Zoey had a little break down but she had to be strong so she looked back up at the girl with bright glowing zyan eyes.

“I’m s..” Katherine’s words abruptly stopped as she saw Zoey’s glowing eyes, and she completely forgot what they were talking about. How could her eyes glow?!

She whispered the words “what the fuck”, but didn’t realise, as she was completely unable to think.

Zoey couldnt move and she said with a high but strong voice “you are chosen by the godess Nyx to become one of her chrildren, this is my vesel for a quick moment” Zoey put out her arm and she walked over to the girl touching her forehead.

As the girl walked towards her, Katherine tried to step back, but almost immediately hit the wall behind her. For a moment, as the girl’s finger touched her forehead, intense pain seared through her, but it was gone almost as soon as it appeared. Katherine was left even more shocked than she already had been, and was still unable to think.

when Zoeys hand touched the girl she immediately fell to the ground laying there lifeless. Zoey quickly stood up and looked at the girl. “hey im sorry if i scared okay?” she walked a little away from her and looked like she was consernd about katherine.

Katherine hid her face in her hands, her head spinning with questions, though all of the questions revolved around the same thing; What the fuck was going on?!

“It’s okay,” she mumbled, though she wasn’t quite sure if she meant it. Looking up, she asked; “What just happened to me? And to you, you said that..”

Katherine shook her head in frustration. “Never mind..”

Zoey looked at Katherine and said “i had a job here and that job was marking you, see for yourself” Zoey made a little pool of water in her hands and showed her the moon that was now on her forehead.
