Notice
So, I know that I’ve been away from Tumblr for a while now unofficially, but I’m making it official now. To anyone whom it may concern, I’m taking a break from my blog and such things. I’m not at a great place in my life right now, and being on here often brings up emotions and such things that I just don’t feel capable of dealing with right now. I’ve felt this way for a while and just left it unsaid, popping in every now and again for some random reason... But I just don’t have it in me anymore. So I’m taking a break. I’ll probably come back in a few months, but for now I’m going to try and ignore things and move forward. Some things are happening offline that might be good for me, but I really just don’t know. I don’t know who I can put my faith in anymore. For now, goodbye.
I’m really boring if I’m not comfortable with you
The realest thing you will ever need to know about me.
even if you don’t live in canada, you could have canadian followers, don’t you dare scroll past this.
just now kinda realizing that I’m pretty good with computers and never really offered this before but if anyone ever has any questions relating to them please feel free to ask
also for some reason that feeling that’s like “you’ve done this before you patota” is going off but I’m 95.46% sure I’ve never offered such things
I have a question, why does my mom’ solder laptop not turn on when I try it, but then I remove the battery, put it back in, plug it in (as it was before) and then it turns on easy?
does it do exactly that every time you turn it off?
She unplugs it, and I don’t know if she turns it off, it auto-turns off, or if it’s running out of battery. And takes it places. And it works fine there, then she comes home and tries it, and I have to do that.
Our explanation is that it just likes me better
could be several things, anything ranging from an old battery to improper electrical contact (that’s not the right term I know it isn’t but I haven’t slept yet)
the easiest solution would be to try a new battery to see if it resolves the issue, which I can help you find that if you need it - if issues persist the power cable might be the issue, but that’s significantly less likely. for now maybe try taking the battery out but leaving it plugged in and turning it on and off a few times, see what happens. no problems: battery issue.
okay, additional information, it’s a Lenovo Thinkpad.
did you want me to try removing the battery, but leave the computer plugged in? cuz that’s impossible, the plug is on the battery.
and although i thank you for offering, it’s her work computer, so we don’t need to fix it, it just needs to keep working
it sounds like a mechanical problem, and one that would really only be fixed by replacing the battery at that. of course, that’s just my best guess - without having my hands on the computer it’s kinda hard to tell. but having had dealt with multiple old/ bad/ used batteries, I’m pretty sure that’s the problem here

Deep-Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie for One
Ingredients (1 serving):
1 Tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature

½ Tbsp packed light brown sugar
1 Tbsp beaten egg, preferably organic (cover & chill remaining beaten egg for tomorrow’s cookie cup… you will be making another one!)
tiny splash pure vanilla extract
2 1/2 Tbsp whole wheat pastry flour (can substitute with 3:1 of cake flour and all purpose flour)
1/8 tsp baking soda
tiny pinch salt
heaping 1 Tbsp grain-sweetened chocolate chips, such as Sunspire
Instructions
In a small ramekin or microwavable cup, combine softened butter and both sugars; stir well with a spoon. Stir in beaten egg and vanilla extract. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by Phil Giarrusso
whenever i’m talking to someone and they tell me about something that happened to them i always tell them about something that happened to me that’s similar to what happened to them. i do it as kind of a “oh hey yeah this happened to me so i can relate to what you’re going through” but i’m always afraid it comes out as “oh yeah well this happened to me so clearly i have it tougher than you” or “i’m done talking about you let’s talk about me”
i swear i don’t mean it like that……..
did you know you're really bad at lying
