Ethan didn’t want to argue or go looking the dark alone, so he took a breath and sat back down. “I guess we’ll stay right here,” he said, leaning into a cushion. For a moment Ethan just watched the rain wash over the windows. He sighed and then turned to Connor. “This is extremely boring, ” he said with a chuckle.

Connor thought about the situation, and sunk lower into the couch, sipping the beer in his hand. He turned to look at Ethan, "well I don't know what the fuck do you normally do in a power outage?" he laughed. He pulled out his phone to see if there were any updates from the gossip blog - but the sudden noise of a tv turning on caught his attention. "Do you hear that static? What the hell is that?"

"That’s convenient, huh? Lights going off? Either the powers’ out, or MTV needed to spice things up." Ethan grunted as he got up for his seat. "I guess it’s time to go searching around the cabin to make everyone is okay, right?"

"Or they forgot to pay the power bill." Connor mumbled, fumbling around in his jeans hoping there was a lighter in one of his pockets. There wasn't. "Is it really necessary to go look for everyone? I was kinda hoping everyone would just migrate to wherever voices were coming from..." He trailed off, not wanting to move and get lost in the dark expanse of the cottage.

  “Well, I doubt this is that type of crowd to get naked on national TV, granted I have yet to really see anyone drunk so, I could be sadly mistaken and this could just be the calm before the storm.” She took the glass though she hardly ever drank, she figured it allowed for conversation and she would eventually be put in the situation sooner or later. “So, how was your break? did you get your Girls Gone Wild on then?” she smirked before looking about the room, ” Maybe Jason got them?” she smarted, the thought was almost funny to her, that people still felt a uneasy feeling due to this man that was said to have died over a decade or two ago.

"I mean they have those little black bars and pixelations for a reason right? It's almost like an encouragement to be naked! Here's to hoping things change and people become more exciting." Connor said, taking a drink along with her. "Can't say it was a break for me as I just got here the other day, but I did some cool stuff - I can't say too much or else the girls back home might get jealous and we couldn't have that right? But what about you?" He raised an eyebrow like it was the most natural thing in the world to have a bunch of girls pining over him at home. The truth was he had spent the holidays playing board games with his cousins who were aged seven through eleven, but he'd never admit that. "Ah yes, my old buddy Jason. Even if he was alive wouldn't he be like...a gazallion years old by now? He'd need a walker for sure."

There was people in the living room, there were dirty dishes in the kitchen sink, the pool was already a light shade of green instead of the crystal clear water, and the noise… The sound of loud music and small talks was all over the place. “I guess we really are back,” she murmured for herself leaning against one of the walls.

"So it's always like this then?" Connor questioned, gesturing at the mess around them. "I kinda figured everyone was just so excited to be here that they forgot to clean up. I thought my lawyer found something in the contract that said there would be a cleaner...no way am I washing my own laundry."

Sadie giggled at his comment, rolling her eyes playfully.. “You’re adorable, like in the nerdy sympathy sex kinda way.” she teased. Casually, she slid off her dress to reveal the bikini underneath. “A girl always comes prepared. ” she added before skipping off in the direction of the lake.

"I want to call you tiny until you can live up to your comment." she called over her shoulder.

Connor put his hand over his heart as he pretended to be offended. He'd been around long enough to know what girls thought of him, but hey it usually worked out in his favor. "I'm hurt, Sadie, really hurt by that comment. You're like the bully of the show now, jeeze girl." he said with a laugh. Connor peeled off his shirt, "see when you're a guy all shorts can basically be used for swimming." He watched a moment as she ran off ahead and quickly caught up, not stopping as he reached the end of the dock and ending up in the water. "Is that a challenge or are you flirting with me?"

Inbreds have a lot more wrong with them so I think extra toes are the least of their problems. But yes, Sadie, I'm coming jeeze. You can call me Connor if you want I guess.

Oh it is fancy. And I bet you've got an equally fancy little bikini to go swimming in, and if you do then I might just be tempted to join you in the weird murky water. But I'm gonna have to blame you if I grow an extra toe because of it!

"I get what you mean. Most people are here to have a good time. I don’t see why you wouldn’t. But I think I’m gonna try to do some outdoor stuff. It feels weird drinking inside when we’re on that beautiful lake."

"I don't think MTV shipped us all the way out here with all this alcohol to watch us wander aimlessly in the forest though, man. Pretty sure the worse our ratings are the more likely they're going to start pumping the water with hormones or some shit, or send some guy with a hockey mask and plastic machete to come chase around."

"You might have a better chance of being shot in that case" she grinned "or breaking your neck depending on how well you can hold that drink you’re mixing. This place seems to be fond of stairs." She paused for a moment "Name’s Eloise, and you can feel free to poor me a drink"

"I mean if I get that drunk I'll probably be crawling up the stairs, no shame in that. I can admit defeat to the alcohol gods." Connor laughed taking another sip. "Well Eloise, I'm Connor and we might just become alcoholic friends by the end of this. We can go to AA meetings together." He quirked an eyebrow at the girl across from him.

"If you want naked chicks, I suggest hanging out by the shower," Wesley said, scratching his head, a little shocked by this guy’s excitement. "What in the world are you mixing? It smells really strange."

"Jeeze man I'm a guy with raging hormones - not a creep!" Connor exclaimed, what guy their age wasn't looking for naked girls? "Long island iced tea. Only there's no iced tea in it. It's just alcohol. Want one?" He cocked an eyebrow.

"That sounds more like it" she plopped down in one of the high-stools by the counter he was at "Seems like everyone here is keeping to themselves or sleeping their lives away. Doesn’t make for very good TV now does it?"

"Exactly my point. And who knows how long we're going to be trapped here anyways? Might as well live it up in the good life while we can." He thought for a second as he took a large sip of his drink. "I mean I could have a brain aneurysm any second now, any day any time. I should at least be doing something cool when it happens."

"That's not necessarily my intention, I'm just looking for some boobs or something. I mean the forest is nice but I can only look at it for so long ya know man?"

"...No one naked? What is this blasphemy?! This definitely isn't what I signed up for." He thought for a second about how weird he was willing to get with these people before saying fuck it. "You know what, lets get as weird as possible, some Blue Mountain State 'Drug Olympics' weird. It's the only way we're all going to get to know each other."
