Billie, I can’t fathom how you feel right now. I can definitely help you with the sweets I got loads of chocolate that I got a few days ago and haven’t touched it. It may not seem like it now but in time you will find peace of mind and heart. Keep your head up, love.

Chocolate yes please! I mean... I try and mostly succeed to adhere to the “honor their memories” shit but like... trying to make new traditions is fucking weird. I mean, I took Gary out for a pampering day and stuff, I think that’ll be my new thing but it’s just... strange.
Note to self: don’t log in to social media on Mother’s Day. I need a vat of ice cream and my weight in chocolate to drown in today. Anyone can hook me up?

Didn’t expect to bump into anyone today and at this time, but since I did, would you care to join me in going dancing?

Memory lane || Grant & Billie

“Well, writing is something even more special. It’s like having her words and her heart documented,” Grant said, sorting through the clothes, folding them into neat piles and separating them by types. Grant chuckled a bit when Billie tossed him her ‘swear book.’ He had never known that she had done this. “That’s kind of ingenious,” he flipped through a few of the pages of handwriting, chuckling at a word or two. He figured that Billie had thrown it to him so she didn’t have to see it. He placed it in the keep box and kept going with the clothes.
Nodding as Billie explained how she was, he gave her a soft and encouraging smile. “Yeah… I get it,” he said, sighing softly. He figured that Billie wasn’t on her medication when they had that excursion at the last party. He felt guilty about the darkness they had gotten into. Like he had lead her down a path that he shouldn’t have, but he wasn’t thinking clearly at all. “Sometimes denial is the best way to go, but not if it’s a risk to your health,” he said, folding a pair of pants and stacking them on the pants pile. At her question, Grant simply shrugged. “I don’t think I’ll ever be over her, but I have to be right? I just have to find someone who helps me forget a little bit.”
Billie allowed herself a chuckle as she kept on carding through the boxes of things. “It is, but the woman wrote non-stop, at this point I should open a museum.” Humour in adversity was probably one of the biggest lesson her mother taught her. Finding the funny in everything was sometimes hard but it was possible and it’d just make it a little easier for the long run. Rummaging through the box, she fell upon a highly scribbled thick script and smiled. “Here. You can have this one.” the blonde offered, handing the script clearly marked confidential to Grant. “It’s the next one, the one coming out this year. I have my own, and I obviously can’t sell that cause... secrets and shit. You should have it.” She wouldn’t take no for an answer.
"You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to.” she reassured him, her hand seeking his out for a moment. Everything happens for a reason, Billie believed, and even if this tremendous loss felt unsurmountable she could already glimpse at some silver lining. When she was most lost and confused about who she surrounded herself with, when she wondered if she even had friends anymore and watched most of them drop like flies when she needed them most, Grant stepped up. And words could not express the extent of her gratefulness. “You just need to use it and channel all this energy into something. Take your broken heart, make it into art.” Billie tried to keep her voice as level as possible, but it was proving harder than she thought. She let a single sob shake her body, wiping a few stray tears away. “I-- can-- can I show you something?”

Today at the store I saw a grown man being pushed in the cart and all I could think was I need to find me some friends that will push me around like that.
I will!
gadotcommagal:
A scarf? I would love one!
Cool! Regular or infinity?
vancityhazza:
I will take a soft one.
It had a couple of holes in it is that okay?
xhello-adelex:
Forrest green. my favorite color.
Then forrest green it’ll be. It’s some yarn I weirdly found in boxes from my grandma’s place. So I’m sure they’ll be blessed booties.
xhello-adelex:
beige?
Uh... i have... forrest green, navy and... like, burgundy?
vancityhazza:
Is it soft?
Some of them, yeah.
xhello-adelex:
It’s ok. I’m sure they will be cute.
Any color preferences?
xhello-adelex:
Oh you wanna make me some booties for little baby feet?
I could try but don’t hold it against me if it looks lopsided or something... I’m just a beginner!
I’ve just taken up knitting, because I had to feed my inner old woman... who wants a scarf?
kendall-jenncr:
On Youtube, I could send you some links if you want to.
Really? People actually do that? I thought I was saying crazy stuff.
I hope that I see the world as you did cause I know A life with love is a life that's been lived So I'll sing Hallelujah, you were an angel in the shape of my mum When I fell down you'd be there holding me up Spread your wings as you go, when God takes you back He'll say Hallelujah, you're home
