A pink lady

A piece for Irene, a great friend - ex-work colleague that worked long stints in Bangkok with me. One evening we dined at a lovely restaurant in Siam Square. A young waitress took our drinks order, where Irene ordered a Pink Lady Cocktail. Moments later the waitress comes back to our table with a more mature Thai lady, possibly the maître d dressed neatly in head to toe fuchsia (hot pink).

It's too Early
135x90cm acrylic on ply. The first piece in the series, this came about after a stay in Colorado hostel in Glenwood Springs. Sleeping in a double bunk bed with the top level being the double bed to sleep in... noses 30cm away from hitting the ceiling, a trip to the toilet in the middle of the night after a few too many Pabst beers meant a bit of a struggle to limbo oneself along to the stairs to make it down to the floor.
