A brief clarification
You may or may not like the pictures I posted on my primary Tumblr blog, but I think that a clarification is needed/necessary why I posted them. You might be overwhelmed with the WWII's pictures I've posted or reblogged and you probably think that I'm a supporter of Nazism, Hitler's regime, racism, etc. I'm not! I like history and its historical pictures, be it a war, person, weapon, wagon, memorial place, or even building and I happen to watch about Hitler's documentary on National Geographic Channel. I would post pictures about VOC, if only I could find a good resolution pictures around, but sadly, there are only a few and the rest of the pictures that I could find are small. For Dutch and Indonesian people, the pictures of VOC and the war in Indonesia might be offensive, but what I wanted to say is that this has a similar case as the people who might be offended with the photo's of Hitler and his era that I have posted. Posting about Hitler doesn't make me a supporter of Hitler, posting about VOC doesn't make me a supporter of Dutch colonization in Indonesia, and posting about the war history of Spain doesn't make me a supporter of Spanish colonization in the Philippines, etc. In fact, there's one thing in common: it's all about history!
By this I also can clarify that although there's my point of view that makes people think that I'm a racism, I still can't support racism and I don't. My dislikes against people's behaviors is reasonable!
