Curious musings

I really want an Oracle deck but I’m torn. They seem like such a different beast than tarot cards to me. I could totally be wrong but they seem foreign so! I really want to find a great deck to connect with and better understand them. Which leads to me wondering which decks are the best to consider? I like the Ganesh deck and I think the Kuan Yin deck is beautiful....

Anyone out there with thoughts or suggestions?

Terrified of Unknown Musings

So after months of meditating and ruminating, I made the decision to move. So many positive things happened as soon as I decided that I felt the universe was saying YAAAASSS. Then people started shitting all over my plans and hopes. Fear settled in. But I moved forward. I’m in my new town, closer to friends and loved ones that I’ve longed to be near. And I’m getting some information that makes me wonder if I’m too late. If my path is at its end. If I took the leap to fall flat on my face. Everyone will laugh and tell me how stupid I was to try.

My house is in shambles from all the boxes. I’ve been wanting to organize but I feel so defeated already. I know I need to get my altars in order and cleanser and start fighting for myself, my prosperity, my future, my love. But...I’m scared. What if I’ve been wrong all this time? All these years? How do I move forward as a witch when I suddenly don’t trust myself?

I feel like every sign and synchronizaticity has been a set up. It’s a shitty feeling. I’m Carrie on stage about to be covered in pig blood. I trust my gut and my guides...I have to believe it was the right decision. But right now? Nothing is in my control and I can’t see where I get from where I am to where I want to be. I took the leap of faith...now what?

Burned out musings

The past month or so has been energetically draining as hell. Work is sucking my soul out, my twin flame is working himself into the ground, I’m surrounded by toxic bullshit. I’ve had zero energy to do any witchy shit. Samhain is my favorite time of year and zilch. All I could do was sway to the ritual at this year’s Witches Ball. I decided to focus myself on self improvement. I’m eating better and working out to lose weight and I’m feeling better...though I’m physically worn out. I’m hoping focusing on myself for a bit will help recharge the battery.

I need to start doing prosperity work for my upcoming move and job hunt. I have many things to set into place for 2018. New job in a new city...eep!

Hello, sweetness! All that’s needed for a twin flame reading is the person’s energy and a taglock, (a nickname, initial, sign, something that ties me into reading them) and then I do the rest! I basically just hone in on the person’s energy and see where their bond ribbon leads me, (I’m waaay over-simplifying it, but this is the basic gist!)

And no problem; I hope this was an ok enough explanation? I don’t mind going into further details if needed.

my favorite part of developing your intuition is you get to the point where you just know things.

and you don’t necessarily know what it is that you know. you can’t verbalize it, but you feel a part of your soul that just implicitly knows and understands things that your consciousness can’t quite bring to mind, even though it recognizes it’s there. you get to the point where you say to yourself, “hey, i feel like i know something, and i don’t know how or what, but it seems to me like it’s all going to be ok.” and it’s that wordless impasse between the language of the body and the language of the spirit that i think is the truly beautiful thing about what we do.
