On some occasions Barbara would head to the lush forest of the cotes ward, she would often help animals out in the wild by healing them. Much as she would while traveling in the other more human dense areas. Her vision wasn’t nearly as strong as it was before, so the power was limited, yet however still appreciated. 

It was quite easy to get lost in these parts, but she never did stray far from the forest edge. Fairies lives in the woods here so one must always be careful, mindful of their purpose there. 

There wasn’t an animal in sight today, which was more of a blessing than a curse. Likely it meant they didn’t need her help today, which only meant it was time to relax. As she turned to leave there was someone approaching along the path. He appeared to be quite the serious character, she wondered what he was up too in the forest. 

Looking away from him, and back towards the forest edge she noticed a fox watching them curiously. It caused her to stop in her tracks in front of the man. 

“I apologize for stopping you sir, but do you see a fox over there?”

 As she gazed back to the forests edge it was no longer in sight. Perhaps she really didn't see anything at all.

The sun had already set in the Archimedes Ward, it was time for her to take her leave from the calliope theater. She preferred to take up day time spots and leave the evening for something more eventful. As long as she was able to sing and dance on stage for others, to leave a smile on their face, why that was so much more fulfilling. 

Packing up her things to set out back home, she decided to leave though the main entrance. On her way out Barbara found herself colliding with someone due to her sharp turn. It wasn’t hard enough to topple either of them over, but it was enough for her to drop her few things. 

“Goodness, i’m so sorry, I was in a rush to get home before the evening crowd is too much.” 

She picked up her things quickly, before looking him over. They were roughly around the same height, but he had pointed ears and most obviously wings. Clearly not of this worlds making, “Are you alright? I can heal you if your hurt.” she assured him kindly.

Not one to travel much out of the area of Mondstadt, there were things Barbara longed to see back in Teyvat. It seems while she was here, she had intended to explore as much as she possibly could in the large wards. Locals talked of Mistwood, they warned her not to go alone. While the mist was welcoming, things lurked in its shadows ready to play tricks or much worse. 

Of course, she didn’t listen and was alone in the middle of a worn trail. The mist surrounding her but still allowing her to see. Her feet grew tired from the long walk, and the bag on her back feeling a bit heavy now. She knew it was intended to be a full days trip, but she probably could have afforded to lighten the load. 

Barbara approached a rock formation and took a seat, not long into the rest she heard something rustling behind her. A gust of wind shook the trees high above her, and out of the corner of her eye she sees a figure in the mist. Not wanting to stick around and see if it would sprout tentacles or not she grabbed her things and made a break for it. 

She ran, and ran, and when she finally couldn’t anymore she collapsed to her knees in front of.. a cat. 

Her eyes turned to the sky and she clapped her hands together. 

“To the wind that guides me. When I'm exhausted, bless me with the strength to keep going forward, when I'm uncertain, bless me with the wisdom to distinguish good from evil. When I suffer from injustice, bless me with the courage to fight back..."

Looking back at the cat now, it had already turned its back and was walking away. Quickly she got up and followed it, “Wait, cats aren’t supposed to be part of the fauna here, you aren’t going to sprout tentacles either right?”

my party formation is the same as my favorite party lmao, Its called BARBS BABES, its led of course by barbara my healer, xinyan is my main dps i absolutely adore her, i use fischl for oz to cause overload, and i use ninguang for that beautiful screen that blocks projectiles, also her ulti is like, up after 5 hits so its quick to use. its very rare that i need to switch at this point but i typically only swap when i need something specific, in that case i bring out sucrose or kaeya (yeah he’s also part of barbs babes sometimes) :p
