     With all these flowers about, it reminds Tadashi of a joke he once heard while riding on the trolley. It doesn’t help that there are carnations sitting in front of him, springing the subject of the joke at hand in the first place:

     “Okay, here: what do you call a pink flower that comes back from the dead?”

     Jokes were surefire to captivate the girl’s attention, even if she was just stuffing her face with candy. Turning to face the other, she’d place a hand wonderingly at the bottom of her cheek. Never heard this one before...

     “Uh. A zombie flower? I ‘unno, whattya call it?”

    Unsurprising though it may be that the girl is refusing her help, Ari isn’t going to give up quite so easily. Though never really having been bullied herself, as she’d always been taller— bigger, really— than other children her age, Ari also hadn’t ever been th type to let it pass easily. And if she was too late to stop it, then the least she could do was make sure the victims, in the end, were alright. That thought in mins, she leans down, reaching gently for one of the girl’s wrists, beginning-                       “Y’ don’t look fine t’ me, lil’ lady.”       -only to grasp air at the sudden glitching of speech and presence alike, causing her hand to stop against the air.

                       “…well ain’t that somethin’? Were they pickin’ on you cause of that?”

     Though puzzled by Vanellope’s tiny hiccup, the woman appeared to having taken it much more collectedly than those the girl usually had the ‘’pleasure’’ of meeting. Typical for most to lash out at the sudden sign of her being ‘’odd’’, this woman’s reaction was a nice scene in scenery. Unreal even, seeing as the girl was still noticeably tense even as she begun to slowly open up towards the woman. 

     Turning warily to face the woman, Vanellope would explain with the use of her most infamous title.

     “..well, yeah.”

     “Y’really don’t know, do ya? I’m a glitch.”
