Hi there! I’m trying to find a fanfic from several years ago and I hope you and the collective wisdom from your followers can help me!

I think it was posted on ao3, but I’m not sure. It starts w Jughead riding his motorcycle back into town. The core 4 are young-ish adults. Betty comes back too, she and Jughead aren’t together. Archie and Veronica are though, and they’ve invited their best friends back to tell them that Veronica has cancer (I think that’s the illness, it might be sth equally serious). It’s really bad. Eventually, Betty agrees to be a surrogate for Varchie, because V really wants to be a mom, but her body can’t do it. They tell their families at a big dinner and it doesn’t go well, they’re not supportive. I think Betty and Jughead are growing closer throughout this whole thing, and that the fic is told through Jug and Betty’s perspectives. Pretty sure it wasn’t completed when I read it a few years ago.

That’s basically all I got. Anyone else remember this?? It was really good in a bittersweet way and I’d love to find it again! Thank you 💕
