So, I came up with a supernatural AU. I'll tell you right away, I was inspired by an edit with Sam to "The Zombi Song," and I don't know if a similar idea already exists online. So, I'll share it anyway. If anyone has come up with this before me, please let me know :(

So, what if Sam's first death happened, but the demons really didn't buy Dean's soul? Then Dean wouldn't have had the simplest solution—reviving Sam with demonic powers. Over the next few seasons, we see that there are actually many more ways to revive someone than just using a crossroads demon. Since I was inspired by zombies, I remembered one of the episodes from season 12, in which we get to know the Baines family better. Spoiler alert! Max can't cope with loneliness and "resurrects" his family. And as we remember, these resurrected people are very fragile—they fall apart with too much force and are easily damaged, even breaking. Just like zombies in their classic appearance, like a drooping eye, a constantly falling off arm, and so on.

That's my idea—almost-witch Dean and his personal zombie Sam, more obedient and more fragile. He'd argue with him just the same, maybe even fight, but ultimately, after a few moments, Sam regains his form and is his beloved brother again, as if Dean hadn't just broken his arm or leg out of anger a few minutes ago. Basically, that's my AU.

I like aggressive Dean, and if he became a witch, his aggression would be even more unbridled. So I like the idea where Dean, out of desperation, first resurrects Sam simply to preserve his own mental state, and then turns him into something like his own familiar or weapon. Just imagine Cas trying to negotiate with Dean about this idea with Michael's vessel while Dean lies on the bed and Sam gives him a pedicure. Because hey, why not? He's just a straw man with a little magic, just with the face of his beloved brother. Maybe I'm overdoing it and this is more like Rowena. On the other hand... Anyway, witch Dean and his resurrected brother are something I haven't heard of before.

Maybe I'll draw something on this topic. Maybe.
