Honestly about Science Art Collection:

“My art is not for mathematician, because I make it just abstract! And I use the formulas and numbers, only because it is easier for me to write them expressive and fast on canvas.

I studied applied math in St.Petersburg (Russia) and it took a big part of my life. I was always fascinated how teachers and professors in the University wrote a huge School boards -no words, just symbols, numbers and formulas.

The idea of the painting as a school board comes in 2017. Before I painted a lot with green, blue and yellow colors. But it was just abstract acrylic or oil paintings.

And suddenly I've got this idea about an old schoolboard with memories. Already 11 years I live in Switzerland and my relatives, parents and friends are in Russia.

I can't just go and visit my old school or old alumni-friends.

I think all these gave me the idea to show the memories on canvas as an old chalk board, which could not be clean properly and "remember" of the whole development path“.

Starting the new painting in 2020! Use a new kind of blue -indigo. The colour is very interesting and I think it will good accompany with numbers and formulas.

This time I paint on the canvas 90x60cm (usually I use 80x60cm for my school boards).
