━ LM ━ Aeson’s vocal onslaught only attested to his beliefs that no one and nothing was above what humanity is often blamed for. Mankind was said to be wretched and depraved beings, but some of them at least knew of mercy, compassion, and intimacy━ something Frederique had discovered the supposed divine tended to lack. Rulers were in between either world like wandering souls in limbo, and as time would progress, they’d pass the threshold and think of themselves equally untouchable as Gods and Goddesses. The Sixth’s opinion did nothing to change his decision of remaining a nobody on this globe, because true difference couldn’t be brought about when stuck in the skies, far from that which needed bettering.
Slowly shaking his head, lips twisted into a wry smile. “You’re just proving my point. Ascend to Godhood and sooner or later you too will be part of that evil, and you’ll most likely think you’re not.” The titan turned on his heel, offering a last single glance at the man beside him. There was no arguing with some people, especially those wrought by the destructive venomous hatred from where their story had taken them. “Enjoy the rest of your night, Aeson.”
He listened to yet another excuse. He was right of course, it was well known that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. However seeing humanities current state, transforming into beasts for trying to be more than they were, trying to he Gods, creating life through alchemy and magicks. True there might be some that differ, some that have their humility but most.. Most were too self centered. And it was clear from the words Frederique spoke next he was not willing to make the sacrifice of himself to better the world of man and man itself. Aeson however, he would gladly be the corruption to make sure no child would he sacrificed, no woman would be raped. Even if that meant he had to become a beast in the process.
"And to you." He simply responded to the man his farewell eyes once again gazing at the sky. He listened intently, not to his surroundings, but his magic fuelled mind allowed him to once more commune with his God. True it was a horrible creature in visage and manner. It too however told him things, showed him things. Not the future, for you can not capture the future, more possibilities, things that could occur if you played your cards right took the right divergences. Tonight he saw himself ascend the steps of a deus as he ascended to godhood. His hard work, his sacrifice had paid of and he was beyond the highest of Khatidjin. He had become a God still rooted to the physical plane and as such with a more direct hand in its happenings.
That thought still lingering in his mind he went back to his chambers to retrieve his weapon and to clad himself in the fashion of the realm. He would become a god. He would sacrifice himself, his integrity, his sanity for the greater good if need be. This was no time for self preservation, what was one life when weighed against nine realms? Ten including this one. Nothing.
