“Oh!” Halcyon raised his eyebrows, then looked down. “Apologizes. I didn’t see those there.” It was no wonder why he didn’t–they weren’t exactly the most beautiful plants around.
“Thank you for minding them. I do advise you to take more care into where you’re going in the future, though.”

“That’s a relief,” he admitted with a smile. “Oh of course. I never want to harm anything especially not plant and animal life.” Archer looked to the other, “You don’t seem to want to intentionally hurt anyone or anything either.”
Vaughn gave a light smile, the corners of his mouth only turning up. “I am glad to hear that you believe that. Far too many objects of life are hurt without cause or reason and I believe that is ridiculous.” He nodded his head. “I do not with harm on other beings, it does not solve anything.”

“I mean they’ll grow back or whatever,” Matt shrugged, obviously not convinced by the other’s argument. “It’s not the end of the world if I step on like one flower. There’s millions of them everywhere.”
“While that may be true, there are many, many people like you on this planet. If hundreds of people share that mindset and daily trample the innocent plant life, there could be a serious issue.”

“Beautiful as they are, mon canard, you do realize that most people pick these to hand to loved ones? This isn’t Alice in Wonderland now, they don’t speak…” Rosalie answered, looking down at the flower that in her opinion had not been close to her feet.
“I know that people do all sorts of foolish and harmful things for this so-called ‘love’. However, I do not believe that damaging the environment because of a rush of endorphins is ever a smart idea.” He crossed his arms over his chest, tilting his head to the side.

Archer froze, his foot midair as he frantically looked down. “Oh man, I didn’t actually step on it did I?” he gasped, jumping aside so he would be clear from the flora. “I really hope I didn’t crush anything.”
Vaughn pursed his lips, watching the male carefully. “No, you didn’t. But, it was very close.” He scratched at the back of his neck, raising an eyebrow. “However, I am thankful that you took the appropriate steps to avoid hurting it.”

“Wait– what?” Matt turned around at the sound of someone speaking to him. At least he presumed it was to him. He looked down to see he was stepping on the grass because he was cutting from the sidewalk to get to his destination faster. “I mean it’s… just grass? Not like it’s some sort of exotic plant or something.”
Vaughn rolled his eyes at the male, crossing his arms over his chest. “Grass is important too, for your information. But, there are flowers close to here and I’d appreciate it if your path went around them instead of straight on through.”
“Hey, wait! If you’re not careful, you’re going to step on one and kill it. I believe you should show the flora more respect.”
