( &. RABASTAN LESTRANGE )
rabastanâs smile didnât waver even as the smaller girl snapped at him; if anything, his grin grew wider and a soft chuckle escaped his lips. â yeah, youâll be a lot busier when you finally topple over from the weight of those goddamn books, vanity, â he shook his head while he proceeded to take the majority of the books into his own hands- â BLIMEY, these must weigh about twice your size ! â
â AH, rabastan. â her expression eased and her toned cooled at the realization of the one coming to her aid being a familiar face. â well, yâknow me - top grades or nothinâ.â she quips with a light laugh reaching her lips. â got a long ways to go if âm goinâ to be prepared for n.e.w.t.s. aiming high this year. iâd carry the weight of YOU if it meant i could pass them exceptionally well. â
( &. LILY EVANS )
âI was simply going to ask if you needed some help, which you clearly do by the way⊠But now Iâm not so sure if I want to help.â Â
â i can manage just fine by mâself, thanks. â she quips coldly. once she collects herself and comfortably manages to carry the LOAD of books without issues, she offers a sour smile. â donât need your help at all. â
( &. MARLENE MCKINNON )
âAnd here I was hoping the summer would take the bitch out of the blonde, but seems youâre still my same boring cousin. Shame, sometimes I wonder if I was adopted.â Marlene shook her head, suppressing a smirk.  âOh no, I have plenty other to do, I just enjoy seeing your expression turn sour over nothing.âÂ
â NOTHING? i donât think anythin' about being an irritatin' brat qualifies as nothinâ. â emmaâs expression turns to a cruel smile, curling up at the corners with nasty intentions. â seems youâre still the same âole marlene -- whiny AND judgmental. just canât accept me for who i am, yeah? â
( &. XENOPHILIUS LOVEGOOD )
Xenophilius nodded in agreement. âOh you must, sneaky little buggers if you ask me.â he said. âI supposed I should, but theyâll turn up unexpected.â
â maybe if you bettered your attention on your notes, they wouldnât âave disappeared, xenophilius. â she says, tutting softly at him. â 'ereâs to hopin' they do - unharmed. â
( &. ALECTO CARROW )
â  aw, iâm offended !  â  alecto dragged her lips into an exaggerated pout, leaning her hip against the wall.  â  havenât you got any time left for a housemate ? thought we was supposed to stick together, or did i mishear the sorting hatâs song at the welcome feast ? house unity and all that nonsense. â
upon recognizing the voice of the unidentified female and raising her gaze to meet theirs, emmaâs lips form an almost sour smile, a hint of sarcasm detected in it. â ALECTO - how sweet of you t'a make an appearance. â she speaks, her tone as smooth as silk. â mustnât mishear anythinâ nowadays, yeah? clearly i missed that part. â
( &. DAISY HOOKUM )
â hey at least youâre an example of WHAT TO DO and not the other way around. â daisy mused with a roll of her shoulders, sheâd been on the other side of that far too many times. it wasnât a feeling she was fond of but she suspected no one ever was. â well i donât know how great a term it will be without my casual disasters in his class, between you and me i think he grew FOND of me by the end of it. â snorting the ravenclaw wiggled her nose.  â but itâs already a good term, iâve got news iâm finally taller than fltwick! â she happily uttered before clapping her hands, so she wasnât that much TALLER but a few inches were a few inches. â iâm on my way to becoming a giant, iâm sure of it. â
â thatâs fair, but you nearly blew off your own eyebrows last year, hookum. you nearly took off MYÂ eyebrows in the midst of all that. â emma recollects the memory in her mind, remembering sixth year potions like the incident had only happened a day prior. Â â i doubt youâll make giant standards, you doorknob. Â iâm not even five-seven and iâm considered short. â
( &. BARTY CROUCH JR. )
â   the fact that itâs past curfew and weâve learnt to be in the common rooms by  nine,  maybe ?    â  the question as to why she was here late into the hour still remained an unanswered, though BARTY was making no effort to inquire due to the fact that he, too, shouldâve been encaptured by sleepâs soft lull right now.   â   i can see that, i have two eyes, thank you. maybe if youâre intent on breaking the rules, consider sitting some where less public.   â
emma scrunches her nose up at barty, clearly displeased with his tone. â honestly, i was just on my way home, barty. â she mutters coldly, â not that itâs ANY of your business. but because youâre clearly making a fuss, iâll have to go. â rolling her eyes, emma goes to move out of bartyâs path, annoyed with the boy.
( &. DAISY HOOKUM )
" absolute ray of SUNSHINE, thatâs me ; daisy hookum at your service. â she sarcastically replied before scrunching up her nose. bouncing the books she was now carrying in her arms. â leave it to slughorn to start the torture early. â school work was enjoyable, well most of it but if there was one thing she couldnât stand it was potions. earning an OUTSTANDING mark in the subject during owls had been a nightmare. â one of the many reasons iâve ditched the subject this year. iâd offer my services but you know me and potions⊠iâd blow something up. â
emma rolls her eyes at her fellow brunette and shakes her head again. â not that i donât adore the subject, but itâs absolutely not 'kay so use me as a particular example each class. â she points out, remembering slughornâs utterance of her name on amortentia. how ABSOLUTELY horrid that was. â hereâs to hopin' for a better term. âÂ
( &. XENOPHILIUS LOVEGOOD )
âI wasnât asking you to do anything Emmaâ He said smiling. âI was just stating an occurrence that has happened. I do ask you though, to watch out, they might steal a few of your belongings as well.â
â iâll be sure to watch out for them. â emma replies, shaking her head slightly. â SNATCH your notes back from them though. best not lose those so early on. â
( &. DORIS PURKISS )
âNo need to get your wand in a knot, you dropped a roll of parchment, thatâs all, I figured you might want it back.â
â parchment? â emma glances down at her bookbag to see her parchment MISSING, and she just shakes her head. â yeah yeah - iâll take it back. thanks. â she replies coldly.Â
( &. EMMELINE VANCE )
with her mouth slightly agape in response to the otherâs words, emmeline merely tutted. âi dunnoâŠâ she trailed, jaw clenching. âblonde hair, blue eyes, plastic smile?â && with a simple shrug, âyou seem to fit the description quite PERFECTLY.â
â HARDLYÂ plastic - i usually donât even smile, so we can rule that petty insult out, canât we? â folding her arms across her chest, emma just scoffs and shakes her head ever so slightly. â i hardly think thatâs any way to talk to a fellow quidditch player. â
( &. DAISY HOOKUM )
" well, i was coming on over offer my help but after that ever so CHEERFUL greeting wellâŠÂ â the brunetteâs voice trailed off as she folded her arms over her chest. â i bloody âope that the mountain you seem to be attempting to move grows even larger only to squish you whole. â daisy snapped before a small smirk appeared on her lips, reaching forward she pulled some of the books out of the stack and groaned. â bloody hell em⊠itâs been a week even iâm not this immersed in homework, what gives? â
â glad youâre just SOÂ pleasant today, daisy. â emma scoffs, proceding to shake her head and focus on the stack of books she was already carrying in arm. â iâm up to my neck in potions, and if i have to do one more impromptu explanation on why spells are pronounced certain ways, iâll blow a FUSE, i swear it on me ma. â
â WHAT? â the small slytherin snapped, obviously annoyed by the presence of a face she hadnât even seen yet. carrying a load of books in arm and trying to collect herself, emma didnât have the time of day for another person to have. â canât you see âm BUSY âere? "
( &. ALICE FORTESCUE )
Alice would never get tired of coming back to Hogwarts in the fall. The grounds never ceased to amaze her and sheâd found many spots to hide away and read with views that sheâd never tire of over the last six years at Hogwarts. The start of her seventh was no different. Sheâd been settled on a grassy meadow just outside the halls that overlooked the lake when, out of nowhere, it started raining in a downpour. She grabbed her things quickly and ran the couple of yards for coverage. A smile was still on her face as she stood dripping wet. Noticing the look on the personâs face, she shrugged innocently. âItâs raining out there⊠Just, in case you didnât know.â
â oh, i know. â emma remarks with a sarcastic smile, which quickly soured and turned into pursed lips and an almost unreadable expression. â with the sound of it pourinâ, i woulda NEVER guessed. â
( &. BELLATRIX BLACK )
ă starters: open ! ă
a year ago, a sixth year bellatrix black was enlivened over the thought of what her seventh year at hogwarts would entail. this was the year, that, merlin willing, she would be the star of her houseâs quidditch team ( so that she could be recruited by puddlemere united, of course ), planned on scoring the highest marks in her year on the infamous N.E.W.T.âs, and overall, having the greatest possible year a seventh year could have. now that she was eighteen and living the first day of her final year, however, it was almost painful for one to witness the contrast between what bella had wanted and what she was actually presented with. a shift in her demeanor, the result of what she considered a traumatic summer, was the least of it: while sheâd normally be greeting everyone she emerald hues caught sight of, today, the otherworldly snake, dressed in black from head to toe, was standing against the castle wall, arms crossed over her ample bosom, and a glower illustrated on her features. a glower, that, was soon replaced by a smirk after sheâd extended a leg out in front of a student that was sauntering past herself and her new equally unpleasant comrades, causing a roar of laughter to come from her five-man group. â watch where iâm goinâ, â she spoke through red stained matte lips, the mocking smirk on her face still apparent.
seventh year came all too quickly for the blonde snake. what had been a summer and a half had turned out to be  just too short for her liking. she was almost attached to her parentsâ hips, constantly following them around, or she was tossed aside and left to fend for herself for weeks at a time. however, being back at hogwarts was MUCH better than being holed up at her home in dublin  - a place the tiny girl wasnât too fond of. scampering through the halls toward the slytherin dormitories. the stroll was cut short though when a foot was stuck out just as she rounded the corner. being quick on her toes, emma narrowly avoids it and slightly stumbles despite the laughter from her peers. â pickinâ on the wrong house, bella. â emma replies snidely, collecting herself and readjusting her clothes ( much like bellatrix, clothed in an all-black ensemble ). â has it really been so long that you just DONâT recognize me anymore? â
( &. AMELIA BONES )
â ah â i see itâs time for my daily scheduled studying interruption, â amelia remarked, glancing up from the ALARMING piles of work that were divided neatly into piles on her desk. she raised her eyebrows and grinned at the other, resting her chin on her hands, blinking expectantly. â well ? did you actually need something ? â
â quite frankly, i wasnât acknowledgin' you. â emma quips with a cold tone, her facial expression showing no regard for emotion. â so donât go âbout makinâ assumptions. â
