I went to a popular book cover illustrator to make a better version of the cover I had made and they gave me ai slop to choose from so I ended up teaching myself how to vector illustrate and came up with this.

I had my first beta readers look over the first couple of chapters of my book and I’m reminded that I’m my worst enemy. I just assumed everyone hated it and were too polite to tell me.

Turns out everyone likes it and the feedback I’ve gotten has been about things that I was already aware needed fixing so there’s that 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just finished the first proper draft of my priest romance book and I’m going to not touch it for about two weeks before I reread it for editing. I hate this bit because all my brain wants to do is reread it and sort out the inconsistencies but here we are.

I’m generally worried that people will see priest romance and think that it’s going to be a taboo fuck fest like most priest romances out there but my book is dripping with grief and depression that it’s going to give people whiplash 😅
