Zuko hasn't had any socialization with kids his age until he joins the gaang, and fire nation royalty aren't really ones to make jokes, so uncle irohs jokes are really the only sense of humor zuko has been exposed to and he thinks that's just what "funny" is

How do you think Zuko got the word out that he was the new Fire Lord? I mean, this was before the world had radios. How did they get everyone to abandon everything and come to the coronation? Or even just telling people that, hey, this is your new monarch, now?

Did they just knock on doors? “Hello, Fire Lord Zuko here.”

Or did they just make posters and spread them around?

Was Sokka just like, “Don’t worry, I know a guy.”
