It is very easy, in life, to let the world intimidate you. There are many people who erect such great shells that they can put between themselves and the world around them. And how can you blame them, right? Life can be trying. There is pain, undoubtedly. But such people live their entire lives from a premise of fear, hiding behind shells they hope will protect them from all the "what ifs" that may or may not ever arrive. Don't do that to yourself. Don't be afraid. Or, rather, BE afraid, but don't be afraid of that fear. When you hide inside a shell, it is not only your potential pain you reject but also your very reality AND all the beauty, joy, and goodness that is also in the world. The price is too high to choose the easy way through life. Do not be afraid to feel, to experience. To live. BE who you are. BE in the world. Be willing to weather the hard times and open yourself to what your life brings to you. It will at times be struggle but it will absolutely set you free. Your life has so much more to offer than any of us can ever imagine. Live courageously. Put your heart into every word you say and action you take.
