Humane (Adjective): Characterised by tenderness, compassion, and sympathy for people and animals, especially for the suffering or distressed. Acting in a manner that causes the least harm to people or animals.
Slaughter (Verb): To kill or butcher (animals), especially for food. To kill in a brutal or violent manner.
Oxymoron (Rhetoric): A figure of speech with a seemingly self-contradictory effect, as in "cruel kindness" or "to make haste slowly."

If you have not seen the video of Henry, an elderly Alzheimer’s patient in an American nursing home, suddenly become revived by hearing the music of his youth through an iPod, then stop whatever you’re doing and watch it. A week later, it still makes me tear up.
The clip is part of a documentary called Alive Inside, which follows social worker Dan Cohen as he creates personalized iPod playlists for people in elder care facilities, hoping to reconnect them with the music they love. Cohen tells NPR’s Melissa Block that the video of Henry is a great example of the link between music and memory.
Strut your stuff.
Prejudice of any kind implies that you are identified with the thinking mind. It means you don’t see the other human being anymore, but only your own concept of that human being. To reduce the aliveness of another human being to a concept is already a form of violence.
