i know mads mikkelsen is a great hannibal and everything, but when silence of the lambs first came out at the cinema, anthony hopkins would go to see it and when hannibal makes the disgusting slurping sound after describing how he ate a census taker (which was improvised!), hopkins would slide into an empty seat next to somebody and make that noise right in their ear and just frighten the life out of everyone and i just feel like everyone needs to know this story
