New Fountain Pen.

As some may know I'm a bit of a fountain pen nerd in addition to everything else. This weekend I went to the DC Pen Show and ended up purchasing a vintage Waterman 55 fountain pen. The deal with these old Waterman's is that they can have really nice springy or 'wet noodle' nibs that allow you to flex while writing. This one had a very nice springy nib, not so much a 'wet noodle' but it's very smooth and has just their right amount of flex for me. A Waterman of this vintage has been on my radar for a long time,

Today, Boy Child broke his new toy. Twitter's API has broken. Third party apps can no longer access the service. Twitter's own apps and website fill my timeline with ads, junk. So, it's goodbye.

I'll be posting sporatically here. I've also set up a Mastodon account: https://universeodon.com/@Velantianqx I'm still getting the hang of Mastodon. There is a bit of complexity to overcome and many of the people I'd like to follow are not there, but, it's new and I'm willing to see if/how it grows.

Who knows, maybe this will be the impetus to become focused on the real world for a change.
