i decided to watch Scotty with the Baby on Zeus to celebrate. First episode, starts with Scotty saying Lemmy is stressing her out.
to be honest, Lemmy is stressing ME out.
i wanna see Scotty have a beautiful pregnancy and being treated like the amazing woman she is, while her body creating miracles. i'm seeing the complete opposite so far.
as toxic as it is, i believe it brings up an important conversation of a common experience that some women face. there are women out there who experience relationships with a man that give them the bare minimum. there are women who's support system isn't there for them emotionally. there are women who live intensely stressful and traumatic lives but will always strive to be the best person they can be for themselves and their baby.
while most view the series for entertainment, i hope the people who need it see the series as eye-opening. i hope people see a man like Lemmy and view him as pathetic and terrible to the woman he claims to love.
on Baddies, Scotty was so incredibly loved and protected by all the women. at one point, i had seen it as overkill but seeing only one episode of Scotty with the Baby gave me understanding that Scotty really needed a great village to help raise her baby.
i hope more people see the importance of having loving and compassionate relationships with their partners, friends, and family.
