This is something I wrote featuring two of my Star Wars ocs! Warning for violence, blood, and death (mentioned)
The sensation of someone shaking Li Qiang’s body started to wake him up from the daze he had been in. He remembered being in a deep sleep because his wounds were healing and the droids that took care of him had given him some medicine for sleep. His eyes peeled open despite being heavy as he stared at the blurry figure in front of him. Li Qiang could feel the breeze on his bare torso as the person continued to shake his entire body. He reached up to grab their arms as his eyes started to focus. A pair of fiery eyes with hues of red, orange, and yellow stared at his face. "Zhiqiang? What the hell are you doing here? How did you get on this planet?" The male asked with a groan as he tried to push the Sith away from him. Li Qiang flinched as one of Zhiqiang’s hands touched his abdomen, realizing that he was checking on him? That’s when his vision fully came back as everything suddenly became clear. He realized they were in a locked room with barely anything in it besides beds, restraints, and equipment laid out on tables that looked like someone was ready to experiment. "This isn’t where I was when I fell asleep! This isn’t amusing in the slightest, if you are trying to get me to help with your plans." Li Qiang hissed from between his teeth. He was clearly in pain because Zhiqiang was pressing down on his stomach.
"This was not my idea. I woke up here just like you, but I know exactly where we are. Darth Plagueis kept me here before he died. If I had to guess, Darth Sidious had something to do with this." Zhiqiang spat with hatred for the man he despised most. Li Qiang tried to pull away when he felt himself being tugged towards Zhiqiang’s chest, initially placing his hands on the male’s cool shoulders. The cold contrasted soothingly with his burning hot flesh, so he actually buckled into the Sith. His hands rested instead of pushing back as Zhiqiang lifted him upwards. "Come on. We need to get you on one of the beds. You’re burning up, and I want to see what your wounds look like before we try to escape. You need your full strength." He explained as Li Qiang shakily took a few steps towards the bed in front of him. He supported himself by gripping onto a few tables, feeling his knees buckle. Zhiqiang swept him up in a bridal style manner to save time. The two of them headed towards the bed, but he got dropped onto the bed rather roughly. It wasn’t intentional but still hurt like hell.
Li Qiang’s face flushed as if he were embarrassed about having to be carried, but he eagerly nestled into the bed. The softer material felt much better on his back than the hard wall he was propped against earlier. "My apologies. It was wrong of me to assume it was you. I may not be aligned with you or the Jedi, but that doesn’t mean I should make assumptions. It’s no surprise Darth Sidious pulled such a stunt. Vader probably told him about me after I was there during his conflict with Obi-Wan." He sighed and looked away from Zhiqiang as he stared up towards the ceiling. The cool hands connected with his stomach once more as the bandages began to unravel. His attention was turned to his wounds when Zhiqiang whispered something in a language he’d never heard, possibly belonging to the Sith. Li Qiang hesitantly touched one of the holes from the blaster, which caused his fingers to be dipped in a pool of blood. "I may have been out of it, but I know my wounds weren’t this bad earlier.." He trailed off as some of the sticky substance trailed down towards his hips.
"This is quite a dirty trick. Those droids probably weren’t meant to be ones to help, if I had to guess. Can you force heal?" Zhiqiang looked up at Li Qiang before his glowing eyes lowered back down to the various holes. He started to clean up some of the blood with clean bandages, which became soaked in blood. Li Qiang clenched his teeth as he tried to muffle his screams since his nerves overwhelmed his body with pain. The wounds were very sensitive, which was probably because they tore through some important organs. His head managed to nod at Zhiqiang’s question as his body writhed. "You need to save your power. I can probably manage to do it, but the healing will only be temporary. Hey!" The Sith yelped as Li Qiang swept his eyes to the side, which sent him flying back in his chair. It was clear that the being didn’t trust him, which was for good reasons since he had just been captured. He couldn’t tell if Zhiqiang was stuck in the same situation as him or if he was part of their plan. "I’m not going to hurt you. For all I care, Darth Sidious could be defeated. We do not get along. You can be useful to many people in the galaxy. It’s not beneficial to get rid of you, Li Qiang." Zhiqiang pointed out to him.
Li Qiang didn’t try to fight when Zhiqiang lifted off the wall. There was an imprint of his body left behind. His cheek rested on a pillow as his eyes seemed to start closing. "If I wasn’t desperate, I'd have put up more of a fight. I do want to get out of here as much as you do. These injuries would make it much harder." Li Qiang could only speak in a croaky voice that came out in a whisper. He allowed Zhiqiang’s hand to hover over his wound, watching as a glow emitted from his palm. The wounds began to mend, but the door flew open as quite a few storm troopers marched into the room. Their blasters were aimed at the pair before they started firing. "I’ll take care of these inconveniences. I think I can manage." Because Li Qiang was facing the door, he used both hands to deflect the blasters. They bounced back at the stormtroopers to strike their hands. Several of them suddenly dropped their weapons. The room was small, so a raw burst of energy burst from the male that sent the stormtroopers flying through the air, sending them slamming into walls or onto the floor. The pain that he felt began to fade to a dull ache.
Li Qiang broke into a grin as a sense of excitement flooded through his veins as he leaped up, realizing that the holes had healed up. "That’s more like it. It looks like we’re doing this with the force and our other skills." He didn’t even look back at Zhiqiang as he took a running start, force jumping over the next wave of stormtroopers. His mind was focused on trying to distract his opponents before anyone got harmed. He pushed some of them in the back and threw an unoccupied helmet at one of their heads. They stumbled further into the room as their balance was thrown off. One of them slapped Li Qiang across the face before being struck with slivers of silver energy that froze the stormtrooper in place, as if they were in a catatonic state. "Now I see why Bendu doesn’t leave the planet. People can be quite frustrating at times." He muttered as he got ready to use force stasis on some of the other stormtroopers. His lips fell open when a red lightsaber emerged from the chest in front of him, sending the stormtrooper to the ground.
Zhiqiang jumped up as he started to kick some of the others with force. By the looks of it, it was his natural kicking ability. Li Qiang could tell it caused a lot of damage like a lightsaber. He was shocked when a head rolled towards his feet. The first thing out of his mouth was, "Zhiqiang!" His teeth chewed on his bottom lip as beads of blood formed before he swiftly knocked someone’s head into the wall so they would be spared from the Sith’s apparent rage. Despite being in a very old language, Li Qiang could decipher some of the words Zhiqiang was saying. He was demanding to know where Darth Sidious was. "That is enough. A lot of this is unnecessary because you are taking the anger you have for Sidious out on them." He objected as he snapped his fingers in front of Zhiqiang’s face, gripping the arm that held his lightsaber with his nails digging into the flesh. Crescents began to form in the skin, but no blood seemed to be drawn. Despite Zhiqiang’s head snapping to glower at him with his eyes blazing like a fresh fire. Li Qiang refused to look away as his eyes got brighter until they almost looked white. "You can glare at me all you like, but even you know that I’m right.."
His appeal seemed to work because Zhiqiang turned his lightsaber off, allowing the blade to disappear, before pushing past his shoulder. Li Qiang shook his head as he turned to walk after Zhiqiang. The two were power walking down the corridor until they reached the very end of it. Li Qiang ducked to the right side so he could peer around the corner. He could see a variety of people marching around as if they had something big planned. "Perhaps we should create an illusion to lead them away. I would like to see what’s over there." A soft breath left his lips when he pointed his finger ahead of him to show Zhiqiang the direction that he wanted to go. However, it seemed eerily quiet as he couldn’t even hear someone else breathing or moving despite being so close. His head slowly shifted to look beside him, which is when he realized Zhiqiang was gone. "Oh, so he heals me and then runs away. That is such a respectable way to treat a man." Li Qiang cursed as a few droids entered the corridor from the opposite side. It was a good thing that he didn’t need to depend on Zhiqiang since he was healed for the time being. He clearly did not belong there since he was shirtless with torn bandages hanging off his waist, aside from the crusted blood on his skin. Suddenly, the droids began to beep and chatter, as if they were alarmed when their sights landed on the figure at the end of the hallway.
One of his hands reached out as he began to make a fist, causing the droids to begin sparking as their bodies started to implode. He was crushing them into pieces, but they had seemingly already alarmed others because flashing red lights briefly blinded Li Qiang. His eyes squinted as he realized that the droids had already lost some parts since they were clattering onto the floor. "This is certainly an adventure that I can mark off my list of places to see. It was never there to begin with. Life is full of surprises." Li Qiang’s little rambles were the main thing keeping him calm as he dashed towards the area where the droids came from. One of them had survived and gripped his leg, delivering a shock that left a burn as he hissed in pain. He crushed its head by stomping on it so he could fully enter the room. There was little light, but he noticed a medium-sized hatch for him to fold his body into. Fingers from both hands slipped into the grates, pulling it closed after he had wriggled inside. His vision was sharp enough to see stormtroopers and droids practically checking everywhere for him. At least from what the slits in the hatch allowed him to see going down in front of him. The reason that he was hiding was so he could come up with a plan and prepare to escape as simply as possible.
Footsteps rang out as someone in white armor entered the room where he was hiding, slowly pulling open the various places a person could hide with a little chuckle. There were a pair of black gloves that he could distinctly make out. "Li Qiang, it’s over. I know you’re around here somewhere. There comes a time to accept the fact that you have been beaten. Truthfully, I don’t know why we have orders to keep you alive. The stories about you are hard to believe. They probably aren’t even real. " The voice was cut off by the distinct sound of choking as their hands reached up to grab their throat. For a second, Li Qiang thought he had done it accidentally because the words struck a chord, which stirred up his temper. However, the stormtrooper seemed to be being punished, which is not something he would have done. Their legs flailed in the air as Zhiqiang interrupted, "The stories are real. Why do you think everyone wanted to find him so badly? It would be trivial to go after him if the claims he made were not true. When you get orders to keep him alive, then you would be wise to respect your orders. I really do not understand why we keep incompetence around. Go tell the others to spread out before I break your neck. I’ll look here." It seemed that all the air a person could lose without dying had been squeezed out of the stormtrooper before he was thrown into the hall. Zhiqiang waited until he walked away before fully entering the room.
Li Qiang raised his foot before he slammed it against the hatch to force it open, climbing out with a cheeky grin on his face as he placed his hands on his hips. "It’s a good thing I don’t rely on anyone to save my ass or I would have been droid bait. Interesting speech about respect when you rarely pay attention to anything Darth Sidious tells you." He teased with a playful tone, firing a wink at Zhiqiang. He found it amusing to watch the other man roll his eyes because it annoyed him so much. Li Qiang tugged Zhiqiang’s cloak off his shoulders and adjusted it to his body so it covered up the exposed skin. He gripped the hood, pulling it up over his head to conceal his identity. "Perhaps there is a clear shot to the exit, so there will be less hassle to escape, even though everyone might follow." He confidently walked towards the smaller ships that were lined up, just waiting to be flown off into the sky. Li Qiang could hear Zhiqiang following behind him with fast strides. Everything seemed to pass by him in a blur as his head shifted in all directions, looking for something he knew how to fly. One of the smaller ships caught his eye since it was almost like the one he traveled in, despite this one being in nearly perfect condition.
"Don’t do anything drastic, but I may have given them a tip that I was bringing you here. Just so they wouldn’t suspect what I was doing." Zhiqiang confessed in a whisper, which caused Li Qiang to spin around so he could stare at him. Despite his face looking blank and calm, a storm was brewing up within Li Qiang’s body. He was unsure if he could trust that or if Zhiqiang was just trying to get him captured. His eyes narrowed as he glanced down at his stomach since so many questions popped into his mind. Did he temporarily heal him because he wanted to spite Darth Sidious, or was he playing a game? Li Qiang wondered as he started to walk towards the male, who took a few steps back because the fire behind his eyes seemed undecipherable. A variety of stormtroopers, droids, and other allies jumped out of their hiding places at that moment. "It would be unwise to try to escape. You are surrounded and still injured. Healing from people like myself can only last so long." The Sith’s voice came out in a purr as he spoke louder for everyone to hear, hooking one of his fingers underneath Li Qiang’s chin. Li Qiang smacked his hand away abruptly, which seemed to take him by surprise. Clearly, this was not the show Zhiqiang had in mind. He usually let people touch him, but right now he was only open to having contact with those of his choosing. Everyone raised their weapons to aim at the cloaked male as if they were expecting him to retaliate.
Li Qiang turned around to glance at everyone else as he walked away from Zhiqiang. “It amazes me that none of you seem to understand that I am not going to help you or do your dirty work. I was not put here to be your puppet. Sometimes it makes me wonder if the force truly willed for the Sith or the dark side to still be around. I am going to be leaving now but you should tell Darth Sidious not to get too comfortable where he is. I’m sure there are some unforeseen circumstances coming his way.” He sounded so mysterious and eerie as he spoke, which is when the ground underneath them seemed to roll. Seconds later, an intense shaking hit that was unnaturally strong as it began to cause the ground to tremble. It was bad enough that Zhiqiang was thrown into a stormtrooper as he lost his balance and the ships began to waver, threatening to dive in any direction. Li Qiang was trying to calm himself but he kept remembering all the times that he had been ambushed, harassed, attacked, and even when he lost his best friend. Cracks began to appear in the building as some of the ground collapsed, bringing down parts of the roof in chunks which caused everyone to start yelling. Quite a few people were struck in the rush to get away from Li Qiang but they were practically being caged in place by the rubble.
Sharp fragments had circled everyone in as sparks started to fly from some of the equipment, releasing a boulder big enough to crush everyone since they couldn’t flee. Something suddenly rushed over Li Qiang as he could feel a powerful, soothing sensation wash over him that made his skin tingle. His eyes fluttered closed as he tried to sense what his instincts were telling him which is when images appeared in his mind. The force seemed to be showing him that there was much in store for the galaxy and this was not how things were supposed to end. He no longer felt angry, but at peace so the boulders abruptly stopped above the cages until they neatly balanced on top of the rubble.
"You will all be free after I’m gone. Today is not your day to perish." Li Qiang promised. The words got lost in his throat as an intense pain attacked his stomach. He almost wanted to double over as he gripped his abdomen, causing his face to contort in pain. His blood started to spill onto the ground as his injuries returned, but it felt much worse than before. His hands pulled the cloak tighter around himself as he tried to avoid showing weakness. He felt tired from using the force so intensely since it was tugging at his eyelids. The male just wanted a nap, so he tried to make it to the ship. One of his palms rested against the glass, leaving a handprint on it which was coated with the familiar crimson substance. Li Qiang realized that his movements seemed to be making it worse when his knees gave out suddenly. He could see the floor below him as the earth finally stopped trembling, but he never made an impact with it as he expected. He was quite curious why until he saw the face of the man that had healed him earlier was hovering inches away from his own. "I am quite surprised. Somehow, you are the only one that did not get trapped or injured. Perhaps this is a sign that you were actually telling the truth about why you tipped everyone off." He kept his voice low in case anyone could hear them, but a squeak left his parted lips when Zhiqiang forcefully wrestled him into one of the ship’s seats using the force. It jostled him and sent a new wave of pain up his spine.
"You better get used to me. You can’t fly yourself home like this. If it was Darth Bane, Darth Plagueis, or anyone else, then I would gladly have done whatever they planned to do. There would be great advantages to having you in our grasp, but I don’t want anyone else trying to touch you or get your assistance except me." Zhiqiang seemed snappier than he had earlier as he powered up the ship, allowing it to start up before they took off towards the sky. Li Qiang kept shooting looks in his direction before reaching out to touch one of his wrists, sensing that he was using the force to draw off someone’s pain. He curiously looked down to see that there were some tiny pieces of rubble sticking out of his leg. His silver eyes turned away since he thought it was best to pretend he didn’t notice. All of the blood he was losing started to make black spots appear in his vision. Li Qiang’s head rolled back against the seat as his arm draped over his ribcage, breathing heavily as his eyes began to be pulled shut. "Where exactly is your home? I don’t know where you relocated after that stunt you pulled with Obi-Wan and Luke Skywalker. Silver eyes, wake up." Zhiqiang started to shake his body as best as he could when they were piloting a ship. A few mumbles were all Li Qiang could produce as he tried to shift away from the hand that was disturbing his system’s attempt at rest. He felt sluggish because his attempts to move barely got anywhere as his head turned towards the blurry figure beside him. Even though he wanted to speak, nothing would really come out.
The phrase "Then you will wind up wherever I decide to take you." was all Li Qiang could make out before his body went limp and he was pulled into a deep slumber.
