( cis woman | she / her | elizabeth debicki ) —— isn’t that VERA ABBOTT ? yeah that is them , outside the three broomsticks ! they used to go to THE CALIFORNIA WIZARDING ACADEMY in THE REDWOOD NATIONAL FOREST but apparently they now work as an UNSPEAKABLE at the DEPARTMENT OF MYSTERIES . sybill once said that they reminded her of the shine of moonlight in the eyes watching you from the trees , a deep-rooted longing for the stars that never seems to fade , the feeling that the thing that so many view as a ‘gift’ burns in your mind like a curse , the scent of the forest just after a rainstorm , and the ever-growing need to understand the secrets of the universe , which seems about right . anyway i’ve heard they’re still a bit CURIOUS , CAPRICIOUS , and CRYPTIC , they’re THIRTY-THREE now but some things never change ! i wonder how being a HALF-VAMPIRE is affecting them after school , especially now they’re NEUTRAL / OTHER ? i guess only time will tell …

“once, when i was ten.” it’s a fond memory, though clearly something that stuck with her long after the fact. “my dad took me down to a no-maj salon for my birthday, got weird looks from the old ladies but he gave the usual widower excuse everyone always bought into. ended up going for a nice subtle strawberry blonde - which unfortunately came out far more orange than any of us expected. decided to just let it grow out and never took that risk again.”
