PROJECT TABLE MANNERS.
END RESULT
PROJECT TABLE MANNERS.
The previous technique did not work out because the camera work was not sharp enough and the software did not recognize the green screen well. I am trying it again with a shorter distance of the camera and the table top.
Now it has a better effect:
PROJECT TABLE MANNERS.
After Luis’ feedback I am recreating the concept video. This time with a wider angle, with a better suggestion that it happens on a table with plates and cutlery. And I need to use Adobe Premiere to edit the background and insects in it digitally. I created a top view angle, again, the camera is connected to my lamp and the green surface will function as a “green screen”. I am gonna use this tutorial:

THE RESULT! Feedback Tivon on Slack:
“Nice! And you jumped into Unity as well! There are some tricks in the "Lighting" window that will make your model look less lumpy, and more like the original. “

INTERACTION ENGINEERING.
First test!
Inspired by a photo series that I made in 2014, supporting an article I wrote about planned absolesence in Electronics, I want to create a “digital” skyline. It will be a scale model of which I want to create a 3D-render, and then import into Unity to walk “through it”. Inspiration is 20s Metropolis vibe

PROJECT VODAFONE/ZIGGO.
Inspiration for our future vision video, deliverable.
“Snapchat has become the cosmetic surgery of our generation! The question is, where do you stop?” - Youth Hymns
“The film takes a look at the sinister side of image-altering apps. Four unsuspecting characters fill our screen, eager to try out a new app called Facefixx. But in a world where every feature can be photoshopped through our phones, where do you draw the line between online and reality? The film has a comical edge, but the ending reminds viewers that less is always more.” https://lbbonline.com/news/youth-hymns-facefixx-film-for-nowness-will-make-you-confuse-the-virtual-world-with-real-life/
Through the eyes of device, idea to capture the video through the “eyes” of our voice assistant Welby.
OTHER INSPIRATION:
http://superflux.in/index.php/work/friends-electric/#:
Our Friends Electric is a short film by Superflux about voice-enabled AI assistants who ask too many questions, swear & recite Marxist texts.
The film was commissioned by Mozilla’s Open IoT Studio. The devices in the film are made Loraine Clarke and Martin Skelly from Mozilla’s Open IoT Studio and the University of Dundee.

Concept.
PROJECT TABLE MANNERS.
With respect to the feedback given by Clara Lanthiez, to create different layers (default screen + insects that can move on it) and Luis Rodil, to digitalize them in a video in Adobe Premiere.
PROJECT TABLE MANNERS.
Iterated concept! Using a physical jar that stimulates the tangible table!
PROJECT TABLE MANNERS.
After the received feedback, ideated on the concept! Inspirational elements: bad behavior jars, bug hunting games, the word BUG
Inspiration to change (bad behavior). Jars. Maybe a funny metaphor for the bad behavior of using phones at the dinner table? A physical jar
