Though... let it be known that these boring school days just got a bit more... interesting. ...He'd never tell anyone that however. "I didn't actually think someone would get murdered here..."

"Oh. Um, right. I guess we should go…together…" Akira agreed, though slightly concerned. He wouldn’t have to spend too long with this guy, right? That wouldn’t be fun. Of course, fun wasn’t really something that he expected to see a lot of in the coming days if it really was true that they were all trapped in this place. Being trapped with who even actually knows how many people and having to be on guard against attempts on his life wasn’t akira’s definition of fun in the slightest, but it seemed it would define his existence for now.
Deciding to think about something else, akira wondered where to start with this large place and its blocked exits. Not wanting to think it all through himself, he voiced this wonder.
"So, um…where do we begin?"
（✘）▶▶ "Perhaps... the cafeteria? Or maybe the kitchen? Those were the two places that caught my eye when I checked the map on the way here," he admitted, giving the other a very convincing smile. Hopefully with enough looking around they might be able to find some sort of clue as to who locked them up in this god-forsaken place. And although freedom didn't seem very likely, the Almost High School Level couldn't help but add, "And maybe the entrance-- I want to see if it's really blocked off..." His gaze was fixated on the entrance, only to make his way towards it and to the voted destinations. "Saruwatari Kuniumi," he spoke, giving a nod to the other after walking a couple of steps, "Since it seems like we'll be here a while, we might as well get acquainted."

Check the other rooms? Valéria raised her eyebrow in slight contempt. Would that really do any good for the pair in hopes of finding anything related to whatever corrupt institute or whatever group of scheming madmen put them in a situation like this?
As he said to her, she would credit him with a valid point. Perhaps the other rooms, information wasn’t cleared out fast enough in preparation for them. Or maybe pictures or something.
"Check the other rooms? Alright. We can look at the information provided, and use that Mono… whatever-machine. That’s bound to hold a clue or two, wouldn’t you think?"
She started off toward the other rooms, and stopped, again turning on her heel to face the boy.
"However, if we’re going to search together, I’d at least like to know who I’m getting up to things with."
She looked at him expectantly, assuming he would pick up on the cue asking for his name.
（✘）▶▶ Ah, so she finally caught on to his train of thought. What she said is exactly what the male was thinking. Perhaps one of these rooms would hold some sort of clue as to who locked them in here or why they did it. Hell, maybe if they were lucky they could find some sort of escape route out of this damned place. That passing out thing proved to be a big mystery as well... just what was up with everyone waking up in classrooms and meeting in the gym? Perhaps he should ask about that. But first... "I only think it's fair that you should give your name before asking someone else's," he stepped closer to the other, not trying to intimidate her in the slightest. Though by the looks of it, it seemed as though it would take a lot more than just a proper stature to strike fear into the other. "Saruwatari Kuniumi," he breathed, the Japanese format holding his to surname and then first name, "... And you are?" "Oh-- and if you don't mind me asking... do you remember anything before waking up in the classroom? It seems as though a lot of students had come to all the same... it's very-- odd."

（✘）▶▶ Peeking into his room, the male got a general feel for what his living quarters would be like for the next while. It seemed pretty obvious no one was going to help them soon. "He really does mean business-- doesn't he?"

The boy next to Akira spoke out suddenly, snapping him out of his daze. Akira thought about what the stranger had said. DID he believe it? He wasn’t sure. There wasn’t anything proving it fake, and things looked very real, but he had seen extremely realistic sets before…
"I’m, um….well, i’m not really that sure. This all seems like some kind of, well, some kind of movie or video game or something. And I do know movies very well." Akira finally answered, looking in the general direction of his supposed classmate but not looking him in the eyes.
"All I know is that, well, I’m not going to kill anyone…So…don’t kill me, alright?"
（✘）▶▶ "I wouldn't think of it," the teen agreed, the slightest hint of a smile tracing on his face. Perhaps he could establish a sort of friendship with the others in here. Maybe if they just all got along, no motive would be able to phase them in the slightest. They'd all form some kind of bond that couldn't be broken, correct? Maybe it was wrong to hope for such a case. "Unlike a movie or video game however," another breath escaped his lips, green eyes trying to lock with the other's, "This all seems too real-- but we won't know for sure until we go and investigate. Maybe we should go look around at the doors and windows and see if we are really trapped in here, wouldn't you agree?"

For a moment, her eyes flickered back - having two different beings respond to her musings was more than the usual quota, but having them both regard her opinion of the ludicrous idea? Incredible.
"I don’t know the amount of experience you’ve had with institutions as widely recognized and filled with prestige as Hope’s Peak Private Academy is claiming to have, but offering admission in return for the murder of your fellow possible acceptees isn’t something prestigious places with wide influence do.”
Granted, she hadn’t turned around to directly face this boy when she was talking to him - strike one on her behalf, however, she turned to face him, after.
"The scourges who brought you… and I… to this place. They’re the ones planning to kill - it isn’t even a question. We do know - whoever or whatever orchestrated his was clear in their intent and likely masquerading for this school, or something. I have a hard time believing the legitimacy.”
However, she stopped speaking after this. The boy, whoever he may be, had a point. There were likely many different people willing to murder for the opportunity to even set foot inside a place of such fame and success.
It didn’t phase Valéria much. Then again, nothing really did anymore.
（✘）▶▶ "You have a point," he responded rather calmly, waiting until the woman gave the male her full undivided attention. It was only when she finished speaking did he continue, "Yet that bear... is he working in his own group, or under Hope's Peak? The bigger a place is-- the more s e c r e t s it's bound to keep, I hope you understand." The fact that he was rambling off ideas and possibilities to the other might have been a bit annoying. But given the situation, it was probably a good idea to figure out who was behind this whole act, "Either the bear is honestly affiliated with Hope's Peak, and is willing to offer a spot in for a murder within the group-- or it's some sick and twisted mastermind who gets a kick out of seeing younger teens kill one another. I honestly don't know what to believe right now. We'd need more details if anything-- but I highly doubt that the black and white 'headmaster' will cooperate in the slightest. Maybe we should go ahead and check the other rooms?" "It beats standing here waiting for something to happen."

Well with all the crying, she certainly would have attracted another student’s attention. Cecilia was hoping otherwise, she wanted to be alone. The male’s comforting words then came upon the farmer’s mind, but she still could have not stopped her tears from flowing. Monokuma just ruined her day, and perhaps her future time with her classmates as well. Her head was still cradled by her arms. The words she was about to speak would be muffled by sniffles and sobs.
「✿」- “That’s true…” A small pause caused by some coughs. And another thought came to the farmer. Her mind tells her not to freak out and think aloud, because it might draw hints to the other students. Her face emerges from the dark and faces the boy with teary eyes. A sob there and a sniffled here. She just looked at the boy and accepted his comfort, albeit with a cloud of sadness. Actually, she just doesn’t know how to continue the conversation. Only a thought came upon her mind.
{W-what if… y-you h-have to k-kill me!?} Deep breaths, Cecilia. It’s okay.
（✘）▶▶ The expression that the girl wore was more than enough information to give the boy a clear look into her mind. She was honestly scared beyond belief and was probably thinking along the lines of how anyone could be trusted when she knows no one. The teen could only shove his hands into his pockets and look over at the anxiety-ridden form beside him. "I'm not going to kill you-- if that's what you're thinking," he deduces, "As for everyone else... I cannot say-- maybe one of these 'motives' will get to them." Though he wants to believe that they won't.

Various emotions entered her mind at once. Her body against the corner, her eyes begin to water. This was not the sort of orientation she expected, no. She expected to be greeted by the headmaster Jin Kirigiri, not some sort of patterned stuff bear and it’s rambling about killing one another. The bears words echoed in her ears like the sound of the bell. Kill another and get away with it. Just the thought of it made her whimper. She slid down to the ground in a cloud of despair. She just wants to go home, to the farm.
「✿」- But… I don’t want to kill…
She held her hands over her head, sobbing silently. What a sad first day.
（✘）▶▶ A sad first day? Sad couldn't begin to describe what most of these students probably felt. Things suddenly took a turn for the worse and got terrifying if anything, most probably took it as a joke because there was no way they could kill anyone. And even with everything going on, the male didn't know how to react to this fellow female. Should he console her with words? Offer her a pat on the back and say everything will be okay? Would it all be okay though? "No one is forcing you to kill," he spoke calmly, yet with a stern tone to try and hide any nervous feelings he may or may not have, "That bear is just trying to get us riled up. If we are in fact, forced to kill... especially with these motives that were mentioned, then you just have to ignore them, right?" "No one is forcing you to do anything."

Akira didn’t really expect for something like this to go down on his first day of school. You normally expected orientation, new people, trying to get a feel for your surroundings, but not this.
When he heard the word theatre, Akira practically ran to the location, kind of ignoring the weird situation. As long as he found the theatre, he would be able to figure things out. But no, it looked as if he couldn’t. After all, that would require wrapping his mind around a few certain things. “mutual killing?” “trapped?” “first batch?” “motives?” “one of us?” the third to last one, not being something that applied to him directly, had only a slight impact compared to the bombs that had been dropped only moments before and right afterwards.
So it was there,in the theatre, jaw hanging open like an idiot and confusion running rampant in his mind, that akira ended up being bothered by some person. That person, dear reader, may be you. Unless you don’t want to interact with him, in which case move along. this isn’t a library, sheesh.
（✘）▶▶ Orientation. Is this how it was supposed to happen? Like some sort of nightmare? One pinch, nothing. Two pinches, please be a dream. This was really happening wasn't it? They were really being forced to kill each other off for entrance into the school they desired, correct? That was their situation at hand anyways... This teen however, didn't allow such nervousness or infuriating emotions take over his form and instead, scanned the reactions of his fellow-- students, for lack of a better word. "Do you think he's telling the truth?" A simple phrase uttered to the one standing next to him, "About being locked in here-- do you think that bear is serious?"
Chapter 1: (ab)Normal Days

Is that….a bear…? What’s it doing there? Why is it talking? Wait, headmaster…? What the fuck? Wait, KILLING?! What the fuck?!
Okay, breathe, Akiko, breathe. This can’t be real. There’s absolutely no way this is actually happening. It’s just a dream. Didn’t you watch Battle Royale last week? It’s probably just bleeding into your subconscious. After all, this shit only happens in movies. At any point, she’ll wake up, and be in bed. Or maybe she was still passed out in the hallway at Hope’s Peak.
Akiko pinched her leg, hoping to jolt herself awake, but she was still sitting in the chair, and now her leg really hurt. She tried again, but to no avail. Fuck. Okay. Be calm, be calm….Maybe it’s a joke? Like one of those prank TV shows or something. Any second now, someone would jump out from behind a curtain and shout ‘surprise!’ That has to be it, after all, there were all these cameras….
But none of that was happening. Akiko looked around at all the kids. Most were freaking out, some were incredulous, others were trying to come up with a game plan. Others still seemed frozen in their seats.
Okay, Akiko, be strong. Show no fear. You will not be a victim.
Akiko put on her game face and her voice joined the rest of the yelling students.
"You can’t be serious, right? This has to be some lame prank TV show. Shit like this only happens in movies."
She scowled at the bear. What was even up with that thing anyways? Was it some sort of advanced remote-controlled robot? An AI? Wait, no, that’s not the issue here.
Kill…or be killed…Kill…and get into Hope’s Peak. Oh God. Oh God. This couldn’t be real. It just couldn’t.
（✘）▶▶ "It does seem improbable if anything," the male moved towards the other and offered his words. Nothing about this seemed right at all, he'd have to agree-- there's no way that something like this could happen, right? "That bear-- did seem awfully convincing though," his facial features tighten at the thought of actually having to kill someone. Someone that he didn't know, at that. "Maybe we should go investigate? If what he says is true, and the entrances are blocked off... then--" He didn't dare think of what would happen in a worst-case scenario. What if they were trapped here and forced to kill off one another for entry into Hope's Peak. No one would actually do that... ...right? "These cameras, however, are a bit concerning," he then motioned to the devices which happened to be installed in every single room and hallway. "They're everywhere... ...even in the hallways on the way here I noticed them."

Valéria’s reaction to this announcement of mutual killing (Killing? No. You’re joking. This is a game of mutual kidding.) was almost more of a nonreaction than what you might have expected from the dancer. She narrowed her eyes, tensed herself, and likely bottled up every negative emotion associated with what the bear just said. (Which, in itself was almost insulting. First a jab at their own dignity with alternate admissions, and then not even having the decency to have a human preside over their mutual bullshit? Ugh.)
"… Kh. This is absolutely ridiculous. You’re insinuating that one of us is actually twisted enough to tell themselves that having students kill each other for admissions into this prestigious academy is a valid method of admission.”
Admittedly, it… it wasn’t that bad of an idea. If someone wanted to go to Hope’s Peak that badly, or prove their loyalty to dedicating themselves to the institution…
But then came moral responsibility. It still came down to the murder of another student which was absolutely unquestionable in terms of validity. It wasn’t an act that should be performed.
But, then again, why stew over it? Valéria left. She simply left. Just like that. There she goes. Bye, Auditorium.
（✘）▶▶ Hearing the other's voice, the male himself couldn't help but offer a stoic expression and a calm exterior to the situation at hand. His green eyes traveled across the room and surveyed everyone else's attitude regarding the situation. Each and every individual had something to display one way or another, they all looked completely taken off guard by what the talking bear just announced, and yet-- ----one of them was faking it all. "Would you really put it past them?" The teen spoke, his voice just loud enough for the girl to hear, optics continuously traveling before they set their sights on the other, "None of us are acquainted in the slightest, and we don't know a thing about each other. For all we know, someone could be plotting to kill right now." He let out a rather thoughtful sigh before continuing, "Hope's Peak Academy guarantees you success in life if you get in, correct? Why wouldn't someone kill for an opportunity like that?"

（✘）▶▶ A game of killed or be killed. Yet a chance to move onto the academy of their dreams. There was no escape-- the group of students here were forced to co-exist until matters could be resolved. Or at least until one of them were killed... whichever came first. The thing that bothered the male most however, was that one of the sixteen here was the Ｍａｓｔｅｒｍｉｎｄ． He didn't really want to think about it-- maybe hope that the bear here was just lying. Perhaps this was all a trick if anything, just to try and lure them all in the pits of despair. Though he would not have it, he'll stay calm and cease the bubbling in the pits of his stomach. Panicking would only result in a worse-case-scenario. "We should check and see if his words are true," the teen spoke the loudest, a midst the silence of everyone trying to grasp the situation at hand. "We should look to see if everything really is blocked off, and meet up to discuss a plan of action." If no one here was going to call the shots. Then so be it. He'll take charge.
