“Evenin’!”
Hey, Jessica.
“Hey Sook! How are ya’?”
I'm doing great. How are you? I'm changing soon. You'll find out soon. *She said smiling.*
“Wait— into a vampire?” Jessica grinned from ear to ear and clapped her hands. “This is exciting!”
Don't let the guards hurt you overnight. @vikingofarea5 and I will be in the backyard. So be careful. If you run into Jason, keep him away. He'll kill me. *She laughed.
“You and I both know I wouldn’t let that happen.” She laughed. “Are you nervous at all?”
Well, you know know what I mean. Jason is Jason. *She smiled.* of course I'm nervous. I don' right know how the Faeries will take me being a hybrid like Warlow. I mean I can give y'all the possibility to walk in the day. But it would only be you, Eric and Pam. I can't right risk all vampires walking in the daylight. *She shrugged.* They would kill the entire human population. We can't have that.
Jessica’s eyes lit up at the prospect of seeing sunlight again for the first time in what felt like an eternity.
“Sook— you’d do that? I’d be able to go see my little sister again…”
Jess, you saw the sunlight when Bill gave you the ability. You know that. I'd be just like Warlow. So I will willingly give you that. So you can share that time with me in the light. I love you all. *She hugged her.* Do you honestly think I would let you live in the dark like this when I have the opportunity to provide it to you?
She returned her hug and lightly shrugged her shoulders, still smiling.
“I know, but… it’s hard to get used to the idea I could do it whenever. I’d be able to see my family again. I appreciate you, Sookie.”
*She smiled as she came out of the hug.* But Jess, when Bill glamored your family do they remember your a vampire? Because if they do, you can't see them during the day.
That will put daytime vampires on the front page of the newspapers again. Once Bill wrote that book that was done. We can't have that fiasco. They would hunt us down. *Fiasco was the word of the day on her calendar in the kitchen.* Please promise me.
“He did… darn it.”
She sighed in defeat and reluctantly nodded her head.
“Alright. I promise. And I mean it. No baby vampire mistakes anymore.”
*Sook nodded.* She had not been there when Bill glamor her family. He'd been so angry with her, he sent her home only to be be attacked by the Maenad, Maryann Forrester. To be honest, she should not have taken Jess to see her family. Jess had been an emotional baby vampire and had impulsively run to the door.
When Bill had found them, the situation had gotten out of control. It was one of the very few times Sookie Stackhouse was terrified of Bill Compton.*
Alright. That and you're not a baby vampire anymore. So you can't go acttin' all willy nilly.
That garnered a small grin from Jessica. If there was anything that could make her bashful for a fleeting moment, despite her confidence of being an experienced vampire now, it was the embarrassing memories of her first days as a newly turned progeny.
“Gosh… you remember how wild I was then? I’ve learned more now. I swear. But how embarrassin’.”
*She laughed at the recollection with Jess' grin. Her smile was infectious. Such a pretty girl and she was a vampire all because of Sookie. But it was in the past. Jess forgave her for it. That's what mattered.* Oh, I remember, Jess. Trust me. Driving you home and having scare your family half ta death.
“They’d have taken that to church on Sunday. It wouldn’t surprise me if I had one of those Fellowship of the Sun fuckers knockin’ at my door.”
Her nose scrunched slightly at the thought.
“What’s first on your list as a vampire? I’m curious.”
*Gazing quizzically at Jess as she expressed her thoughts on what her parents would have done in regards to having the Fellowship of the Sun come over.* I can see that happening and I am sorry that you have parents like that. But you do have Eden. *When she asked the question about the vampire, Sookie looked at her.* First on my list? I hadn't thought of that. I guess I have to sign the house over to Jason. I have to be safe in my home. If I know Eric, I'll be feeding on human blood and not Faery Blood.
“Yeah that sounds real… Eric of him,” she mused, the mention of Jason pulling her from that momentary high as her smile faded slightly. “How’s he doin,’ Sook?”
“Evenin’!”
Hey, Jessica.
