Calculated Misstep
I don’t think setting this show up for failure was necessary to learn anything. Why drag the story into something generic and then wonder why the show didn’t have good numbers? It wasn’t bad but it could have been so much better. Stop learning with good show ideas and start making good shows. “Favorite Show” can still work if you don’t cancel it.
Am I taking crazy pills?
You learned a lot from “Favorite Show”? Give me a break, so doing the same EXACT thing to Twilight Basin wasn’t enough? Stop taking our darlings and giving us 2 seasons of built up for it to end with nothing but a whimper. Finish the story, let’s see the three come finally do something!
We can't ever have anything good
If you know the journey was long, why make a half assed attempt? “Oh let me take the baton, I know it’s been a long run, I can do the last bit.” For what? So you can run for a mile and then toss it on the ground since season 2 didn’t have season 1 numbers? Whose fault is that? Stop coming to the stove if you jump when the burner clicks.

We should have known it was over when they unironically wrote in the lines “What are we? Some kind of Favorite Show?” and dunked the original podcast plot into the trash. Is this really how we're ending the show?? wtf
