@veronicaromanov
I saw this one lady yell at someone because their music was too loud.
I bet her yelling was louder than the music, what a hypocrite.
You could always break their shit, man.
Random acts of destruction aren't exactly my style.
When someone is playing obnoxious music on the beach loudly it means that you just have to play yours even louder.
Sailing with a Lovely.
Summer.
I need a six month holiday twice a year..
That was clever.
Comfort In Sound || Carter & Veronica
Carter had spent the majority of his trip to St. Bart’s doing nothing in particular. He’d spent a couple days by the beach with his guitar, a couple evenings out with other Ketlar – but nothing that really made him think that this trip was all it was hyped up to be by other students. The sun had began to set on the horizon, the last bright rays of golden hue shining over the dorms which the students had spent their trip at. And even though the evenings were still comfortable and warm, Carter found himself in a respectable polo and a pair of jeans as he carried himself towards the woman’s’ dorms. Truth be told, Carter hadn’t really made a name for himself at Easton – not amongst any crowds in particular. The life he led outside of Easton was one he wanted to keep mostly to himself and the select few who knew him outside of the boarding school – there was more to the boy than just his last name.
With a forceful tug, the dark haired boy pulled open one of the double doors leading into the opposite gender dorms. An entrance hall with two stairways led towards what he assumed were upstairs rooms, and a hallway below led to the common room and a few more rooms if it were anything like his own dorm. Carter’s gaze drifted over each option before coming to the conclusion that he had not the slightest idea as to where Veronica was – so he’d draw her out. Fingertips drifted against the hard wood of the worn but well cared for piano, lifting the fall board which covered the ivory keys. Without hesitance, Carter sat himself down behind the keys and began an impromptu session.
The summer so far had been a unique experience for Veronica. As her first introduction to Easton she was greeted with endless parties on the beach, alcohol being snuck in at every corner, and party favors to go around. While the last wasn't her cup of tea, the first two were things she enjoyed indulging in. Despite a minimal amount of course work, she found her days being wasted away on the sand of the beach, her skin already reflecting a sun-kissed tan. She had met a few interesting people so far, some older and some her age, all of them with their own stories to tell. That was the thing she liked most about people, everyone had experiences different from her own and she enjoyed hearing about them. Â
One in particular she was interesting in hearing was that of a boy she called Casper, his actual name escaping her no matter how hard she tried to remember. The two had made plans and she had just finished washing away the day's events at the beach. With the heat on the island overwhelming, Veronica decided on a simple strapless dress that hugged all the parts of her body she wanted admired. Her tan legs were bare with the exception of the stripy sandals that adorned her feet and she decided to start her way through the dorms until she stumbled upon her companion for the evening. It wasn't long till she heard the sound of a piano filling the silence and she followed the music until she spotted him, the source of it all. Veronica brushed back her brunette waves as she walked towards him slowly, not wanting to disturb his playing. She approached the piano and casually leaned against the side of it, letting one arm rest along the polished wood as she listened to him play. When the tune was over she clapped her hands quietly together in applause. "Bravo."
I should hope so - lest I have to work on my people skills.
I'll let you know about those people skills by the end of the night.
Moving your schedule around for me? You’re far too kind.
I like to think that you'll make for much better company than a text book.
I don’t suppose you’re busy this evening?
I have some studying I should do but I can put it off till another time.
Coincidentally, a slot in my evening just opened up.
That is quite a coincidence.
