If I ever try to have a serious conversation with Akatsuki he just runs away to who knows where, and Deo-man says I am no longer allowed to talk to him about Akatsuki because he thinks that he was the one that hurt me the most. He is so right. It is the breakup I agreed on that keeps me up all night and makes me feel sick sometimes. All Muu-kun wants is for someone to be there when he is sad, and for them to actually take the time to pick up on what is bothering me. Not just leaving and acting like everything is better the next day.”

                                “Sweetie, you can be sad. That’s okay.”

“It’s staying sad that’s not. I’ve watched people destroy themselves and the people around them because they hang onto their sadness for so long-- They become sad forever, and... They never know how to not be sad. It’s not that I don’t want you to be sad. It’s okay to be sad. I still cry over my ex, too-- even if it’s been almost a year, now. Sometimes I remember how much I still love them and I just cry, and that’s okay. If someone is acting like it’s not okay, they can go shove a cactus up their bum because I’m not having that, okay?”

surprises the other with their favorite fast food for dinner: Lex. Nat can’t cook/doesn’t want to most of the time

is massively hungover after celebrating their anniversary: Both. Poor babies.

argues for double stuffed Oreos over regular: Nat.

buys $200 worth of baby things after finding out they’re expecting: Lex. What a nerd.

insists that they each get their own popcorn at the cinema: Neither. They’d probably end up doing the cute ‘fingers brush in the popcorn’ thing, and Nat doesn’t really eat many snacks at the theaters anyway.

“I’m his older brother, Matthew. I have been away for college ever since Muu had moved away to live in France with his partner at the time. According to everyone I’ve met, I’ve missed a lot of things in his life.” By the end of everything he had heard happened while he was gone, he developed a strong hatred for the one they call Grimmy-man and Akatsuki. He had already known Akatsuki before his journey out of the country, but everyone seemed to describe him as a wuss that was unable to hold a conversation. The other was a whole different story.

“I like that he is finding people out in the world, but there is no way he is mature enough for some things. Now that I’m here, I have to make sure nobody takes advantage of how naive he can be.”

“Err-- wait, my name’s Lex. Yeah. That’s English.” They often got into the habit of speaking only in Korean when they stayed with their ex-almost-fiancee for prolonged periods of time. “I didn’t know he had a brother, honestly. It’s nice to meet you.” They’d offer him a hand but the time had already passed, and it felt awkward at this point. “Dude, I feel you. I try to keep him out of trouble but he always seems to attract literally the worst people? I leave for a week for work, come back, and he’s -- done something weird or let someone take advantage.”

  “Thanks.” She swallows a bit at the kiss, leaning back and closing her eyes. Lex was her best friend. One of the only ones besides her viewers who actually made an effort to understand her (but, being  honest, most of her viewers probably watched just for her faces and screaming.) They would be friends. No complications allowed because stuff like that just … got in the way. Of everything So they could so handle this.                    Eyes crack open from her almost-nap, grin coming over                   her face as a loud snort came out. God. What a fucking                   nerd.

                                                             “You snorted!“

     Lex grins down at the food like this is some sort of amazing accomplishment. They think it’s cute when she snorts, especially when they’re the cause. They start to wonder when exactly they’d erased that line between best friends and maybe something more-- but, now wasn’t the time for that. Now was the time for silliness and singing breakfasts and bacon.

     “You weren’t expecting that, huh?”

Akatsuki and Muu-kun broke up and are on no speaking terms until Akatsuki feels happy again, Aime-man is practically dead to me because he decided to leave me with his mean friend when this big argument thing happened, Lotty-man keeps trying to see me in my underwear, and I can no longer say I’m never going to use my mouth for anything but eating or drinking.”
