Everybody knows how much little Lando Norris loves to sleep.
In the paddock, in his car, during red flags, at the MTC, nothing could possibly stop this man’s quest for sleep.
However, when he falls for you, Lando quickly learns that the two of you have very different sleeping patterns.
While he sleeps whenever he has some free time, you on the other hand sleep very little, likely due to insomnia, or maybe just bad habits acquired over many late nights, and therefore tend to stay up very late and wake up pretty early as well.
At first, this discouraged Lando a bit because he loved the idea of getting to sleep in the same bed as you, holding you in his arms through the night, but then realized that may not work out like he had hoped it would.
Until you come up with you solution, in which you suggest Lando can curl up and cuddle with you while he sleeps while you do whatever you want to, provided he isn’t in the way and you’re doing something calm, not cooking or moving around, like reading, working or watching TV.
So that’s how you find yourself working late at night with lando draped over you, at almost 2:30am, like your own personal weighted blanket.
You’re laying in bed with Lando on top of you, your laptop propped open on his own back, a show running on the TV in the background, as he snores quietly.
You aren’t paying much attention to him, but when he opens his mouth, still asleep, and mutters a small "Love you n/n" you just can’t help but smile.
Lando’s unconscious act of affection prompts you to calmly and quietly close your laptop, set it aside and turn off the light, curling up with him once again, kissing the side of his head, whispering "Love you too baby" against the side of his head with all the love you could muster in your voice,and finally close your eyes.
