I had a request to draw 50s style IchiRuki. I love this time period, because I’m huge fallout game series fan. But that’s not the point. Back then young guys were wearing leather jackets and specific hairstyles. And that’s why picture of Grimmjow appeared in my mind. That’s exactly in his style. And that’s why I had this funny idea no one expected. Little background story for art: Ichigo had been working as newspaper and milk delivery guy, as janitor at the cornflakes factory and even repaired motorcycles to earn money for letter jacket to impress one special girl. When he was working with motorcycles he borrowed few ideas for his new style. And ended up copying it entirely XD what a plagiarist
