vespertine island - my spooky jester character🎭 the island lore i decided on is that the Island used to be inhabited by witches and, though they all left, there are traces of magic on the Island! I named the character Jinx and she is the embodiment of a spell gone wrong(not a night clown like so many people in my notes said lol, what can you do). She might look scary but is not evil and more like a trickster😈 at first I really tried to make a queen of hearts or a mad hatter character to fit the alice in wonderland vibes, but I kinda failed at designing that and it also lost the halloween feeling at bit so i went in another direction🪾

halloween blog - day 20, the final day🎃

well everyone, this will be my last post from Vespertine! I’ve decided to leave early.. before halloween night.. it just.. seems like the right choice for me. Thank you for being with me on this journey, i had fun and while things did turn out a bit odd i have no regrets.. but i do think you should visit this town for halloween! yea, I’m sure i got all the strangeness and you’ll just have a normal fun halloween, free of nightmares and all! part of my routine in town is visiting the hauntingly cozy tea-shop, and since I’ve made great friends with the owner i decided to tell her about my odd cemetery visit and nightmares! Her response was shocking, she said it sounded very normal so close to the witches-eve and that I should even expect other strange things happening as we get closer and closer.. let’s hope she was only joking..

after another active day in town i joined the townies for an evening concert! It did leave me out a little later than planned, but my lonely walk back to the motel was uneventful! except for a little meeting with a stray bunny.. i could be mistaken but I’ve noticed several of these around town the last few days.. odd🐇

since we are getting closer and closer to the local festivities, and halloween, even the more natural paths outside of town are never empty! It feels very lively🎃🍂

got an early start to the day! the town is approaching some eventful days, a late-night music concert and their annual witches-eve party(a local tradition)🎃 the whole town is buzzing with excitement and activity🍂
