Naegiri Tckl Fic
Hello again guys đ
Thank you so much for the request! I absolutely love their dynamic and the first game in general, such cuties. Hope you enjoy!
âI wonder what Kyokos up toâŚâ I muttered, mostly to myself. The words hung in the air of my dorm room in the silence that had settled after Iâd spent the last few hours lazing around in my room. Finally, I pushed myself upright, shaking off my tiredness.
I stepped into the hallway and heard a distant echo of footsteps. Was that her? As I turned the corner, I instead saw Byakuya and a starstruck Toko walking behind him at a slight distance, probably a measure set in place by him.
âHey Byakuya. Have you seen Kyoko?â
He looked down at me with his usual displeased expression, as if he was disappointed that Iâd even chose to speak to him. He let out an exaggerated sigh before he spoke.
âIf you must know, I saw her entering the library shortly after I left. Donât bother me again.â He wouldnât even look at me as he was speaking, instead looking off in the complete opposite direction. Still, I brushed it off.
âThanks!â I started walking in the direction of the stairs to the second floor, but I could still hear the two- well, Toko, rambling on to him.
I carefully opened the door to the library and sure enough, there was Kyoko reading a book, and pretty zoned in on it too. I didnât wanna disturb her, but I was curious what she was doing.
âHey, Kyoko?-â
Her eyes shot up, guess she hadnât noticed me come in. Her expression quickly returned to normal when she saw it was me.
âI didnât see you come in.â
âSorry, didnât mean to scare you.â I closed the door and walked behind her to see what she had been reading so thoroughly.
âWhat are you reading?â
âItâs a training book for detectives. I think I had a copy back at home, the pages look familiar to me.â
Iâd almost forgotten. Kyoko only recently learnt about her talent as the ultimate detective. Honestly, it made her seem even cooler than she already was, and it definitely made sense for her.
âReally? Is it that easy to become a detective? You just buy a book?â
A small smirk tugged at her lips as she exhaled through her nose, almost like a laugh.
âNo. If it was that easy, anyone could become one. It takes a lot of skill and training to become highly regarded in the field.â
âOh, I get it. So I guess you mustâve done a lot of training then, huh?â
âI suppose you could say that.â She brought the covers of the book together slowly as she closed it.
âWhat sort of stuff did you have to do?âŚCould you teach me?â I gotta admit, I was a pretty curious now.
âTeach you?â Her eyes widened before she paused.
âThe training I had to endure is far too dangerous for just anybody to undergo.â
Even though it was probably for the best, I was pretty bummed out. Maybe she saw that on my face because suddenly she was⌠smiling a little? Did she think of something?
âI guess I could try something, but Iâm warning you now, it might be too much.â
I was in too deep now, I couldnât help my own curiosity.
âO-okay! Iâm totally ready!â But I wasnât. I was getting nervous. Whatever training she went through mustâve been really intense for her to be considered an ultimate.
She got up from where she had been sitting and pivoted to face me. I couldnât help how my body instinctively leaned away slightly in fear, but I held my ground, trying to give her a firm look. Still, my tense posture was completely giving me away.
There was a moment of us just looking at each other. The anticipation was almost killing me before suddenly, without warning, she lifted her hand and pointing a single finger in front of her. I kept my eyes on it, a little confused as she slid her finger inside the open edge of my jacket before- *POKE* right in the ribs.
I yelped and backed away a bit, my hand instinctively covering the spot sheâd just touched as heat rushed to my cheeks.
âW-what was that for?!â
âI was just testing something. Did that hurt?â
âNo⌠It just tickled a little.â
I felt like a pretty big loser admitting that, especially to her. I let my guard down and moved my hand away, not expecting her to do anything more.
I was wrong. Suddenly, she started poking me again, this time relentlessly, each jab landing on a different part of my side.
âK-kyoko! Heh- Hey! Stop it!â Before I knew it, I was laughing and trying to squirm my torso away, though I admittedly didnât move from where I was standing or even attempt to move her hands away. Still, I was doing everything I could to somewhat hold it together.
âStay serious.â She said bluntly.
âI cahanât! Kyoko, i-ihihit tickles!â
âThatâs the point.â She said that like it was the most logical thing in the world. âBut you have to keep a straight face. To be a detective, you have to be able to withstand any kind of pressure.â
âT-thahahatâs not fair! Just ahahanything but that! I can take anything else!â I stammered, my words breaking into helpless giggles.
âYou have to confront your weaknesses head on. If you say you can take anything else, then all thatâs left is to overcome this.â
She suddenly started not just poking, but using both of her hands and all of her fingers to scribble on both sides of my torso. It wasnât insanely fast or vicious, I could tell she was still trying to be gentle⌠Or that maybe doing this was new to her, but my stupidly ticklish sides felt it as if it was at full force. It was like sheâd mapped out all of my weak spots.
âBuhut Kyoko, I-It really tickles!â It was getting harder to say words properly through the giggling.
I started clumsily walking backwards, raising my hands slightly in surrender, only for her to close the distance. Without notice, my back hit the wall. Iâd backed myself into the corner of the library⌠I was trapped. With my only means of survival left being the floor, I crumbled down, but she followed without hesitation and simply continued the attack.
As I sat against the wall, cheeks burning and laughing like a child, I attempted to try and compose myself, to keep a straight face. Just as I thought I was getting somewhere, she hit a particularly bad spot right between my hip and lower ribs⌠A spot only my sister had known about. At that point, any semblance of control I had was gone and I burst right back into laughter.
âW-wait! N-nohohoho, please- not thehehere!â I twisted away, laughing even harder than I had been up to that point. No matter where I turned, her fingers always found the spot again. She was persistent, observing my failure with the faintest smile, just like an ultimate detective would.
Finally, after what felt like years, she moved her hands away and stood up. I could still sense the lingering feeling of where her fingers had been and continued giggling under my breath as it slowly began to die down. I could feel how red my cheeks were and my voice came out a little shakey. âS-seriously, that was so unfair.â
She looked down at me with that same subtle smile on her face. âWeâll have to work on that.â
I had a lot of fun writing this and Iâd be so down to write more for any Danganronpa characters you guys wanna see so please feel free to ask me! Thanks for reading!
