ahana has finally deigned to join the program. at first, it was of no real concern to india. her younger siblings have popped in and out to practise their niceties and provide a little more vibrance to parties, her rajput cousin, the mainstay, feeds information back home. she gets the sense he filters the information — it doesn’t sit well. but now, after many months of discussion and planning, urged by her husband manav, perhaps the current climate may bear fruit for india. there is a sea change happening in world politics. europe is quickly losing relevance, and asia is gaining traction. it is now far more lucrative for investments than it already was — it is safer. business is of course, booming, more now than ever.
and india is one of the largest arms dealers in the world.
she plans to put india on the map for more than just its size, its military, and gandhi’s peace-baiting creed.
the clock ticks still, but this time she is rising to face it.
