I can't stop thinking about the day I went to the Valley of Fire last week. I've never seen so much orange in my life. And when the whole landscape became saturated with orange during the golden hour, I was so in awe.

I Found Myself by Vibrancy Photos

The more content I upload in my Instagram feed, the more I see how much I’ve changed as a photographer when I look at my work from the past compared to my work in 2016; and it has only been halfway through January!

Since landing in Las Vegas, I’ve had opportunities to incorporate a few shameless self-portraits in my landscapes. Something I’ve always needed practice with. What’s funny is I personally believe I am the worst at doing portraits and landscapes, especially the latter because I couldn’t do it justice no matter how I approached it. I’ve always been comfortable with minimalism and finding the art in things, but this is a part of me I found in 2016 that I hope to be able to explore throughout the rest of the year.
