Disappointments

The first disappointment of the day happens right after waking up:

You didn’t die in your sleep again.

The next happens on your way to work:

You didn’t get hit by a car/bus/train/etc.

Then:

You didn’t die in a work accident.

On your way home:

You still didn’t get hit by a car/bus/train/etc.

At home:

Your house didn’t break down.

You didn’t slip in the shower and broke your neck.

Your home didn’t explode.

Going to sleep:

Hoping you will die tonight.

I’m fine, unless I start to think. And I do that a lot.
