My stepdad told me to take the trash out and I didn’t because I “had more important things to do”. I stayed the night at my friends house and when I came home the next day, the trash bag was in my bedroom lying on my floor (please note there’s rotten food in there).

In a jackass tone, he said “Any time you don’t take out the trash when I tell you to, it’s going in you’re room.”

We got into a huge argument that blew out of proportion and we haven’t spoken for 3 weeks and WE LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE (Which is awkward as fuck)!

Is he the petty one for not acknowledging me or am I the petty one for not apologizing?
