Actors That Rokk! || Adrien Brody
“My dad told me, ‘It takes fifteen years to be an overnight success,’ and it took me seventeen and a half years.”
I love it when he looks happy.
Adrien Brody has become a spokesperson for Lacoste. A smart move on their part — I could watch him all day.
This is for you, ibet. <3
Adrien Brody as Noah in The Village (2004)
I don’t know why he’s dressed in a fire-retardant suit.

Era? The hell kind of people are roaming around on the streets now? “Oh, time traveler? You.. don’t know Steve.. Okay well at least that helps loads.” Bobbi watched him observe it and frankly, it made her feel very uneasy. She didn’t know what to think of it. It seemed like he never saw it in his life, but he was so familiar with it. Shrugging the feeling off discreetly, she smiled.
“Arthur, nice to meet you. I’m Bobbi. What.. era are you from, may I ask? Or can I take a guess? You’re dressed well so I’d say nothing into the dinosaur era. I’d say.. 1800’s? That’d be the earliest century I’d believe you’d be in. Am I even close?” Bobbi laughed a little, trying not to offend him but knowing he probably thought she was a loon.
"I guess I qualify for that title, sure." The term "time traveler" wasn't something he'd ever really heard, especially back in the 1800's; the fantasies of such things weren't popular just yet. Bobbi spoke, and nearly mimicked his current thoughts, so the glance he turned to her was surprised.
"Yes. I departed in 1867, actually." He eyed her some, offering a small, tolerant smile. "I take it this sort of thing happens quite often in this year. What is the year, if you don't mind my asking?"

“I uh.. yeah, where are you from exactly? Are you one of Cap’n’s friends?” Bobbi took out her cheap cell phone and offered it to him, somewhat nervous that he would either freak out or break it because he’d be defending himself. She thought he would react the same way Steve had when she told him a fair amount of the new world.
Pfft. Arthur was a scientist. So, regardless of the fact that he had no idea what the heck this little thing was that he now held in the palm of his hand, he wasn't about to flip out and crush it or anything. Instead, he frowned down at it, shaking his head some.
"I.. no, I'm.. Who?" He lifted his head, peering at the woman, and then back down at the phone. "I'm from.. well, quite literally not from this era. I'm not sure who this capin is, though." Being a scientist didn't mean he knew how to work the damned thing; he glowered at it, and then offered it back. "My name is Arthur."

“Welcome to the modern era of technology then. It is the year 2012 and what year is it that you are from.”
"1867. Sort of. It's not exact, but.. yeah. Okay, well, and this is earth?"
"..sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Arthur."
∆ litttlemockingbird
“Is it um.. urgent? If it’s absolutely dire, you can er.. use my cell phone.. It’s not very good, I might add. It’s prepaid so it’s worth as much as I paid for it. Other than that, there should be one I think two blocks down near Times Square.”
Quite a bit of that went right over Arthur's head, and the man stood there, hands in pockets, blinking at the woman. "Um."
"I'm.. I'm sorry. You can make calls on it? This cell thing?"
∆ litttlemockingbird
"Ah, hello there, miss. You wouldn't happen to know if there's a phonebox around here, would you? Or.. some sort of calling device?"
∆ elektramercenary
“Apologize accepted.”
“I do not no the correct designation but perhaps it will help if I know yours?”
"Well, I mean.. okay, I'm not from this time. I already know that because we don't have lighting like this. What year is it?"
∆ elektramercenary
“And you don’t look like room service.”
"Yeah, no, that would be.. less awkward. Uh. Sorry."
"This is going to sound odd, probably, but you don't by chance know what universe this is, do you?"
