A warm, heavy hand on her shoulder wakes Ilona up with a jolt, and she’s sitting at her desk, her laptop screen dark.

"Thought I should wake you up before you slammed your face into the keyboard," Royce says, and waits while she stands.

She slips her arm around his waist, holding him close for a moment before leaving to get ready for bed.

And just before she goes to bed, she texts Benji (she’s not sure why). Nothing complicated, just ” benji-tech-dunn - Love you, see you soon!”

And then she goes to sleep next to her partner.

He wakes up a couple of times. He isn't sure why. But every time she's sound asleep next to him. And every time he goes back to sleep smiling.

This has been a really, really, really long week. Definitely not what I expected. Too tired to talk about it now, even to think about it much.

Just want to sleep. Sleep, then go home.

So tired.

He sits at the side of her hospital bed. Watching over her. Watching out for her.

He wonders when he'll be able to let her out of his sight again.

Crew Status: Recovered. All agents suffered mild to moderate injuries; mild dehydration, sleep deprivation, hypothermia; will be held in Medical overnight.
