on another note about rosa, she ends up being victor’s friend (possibly a crush too) and but also ends up being a ghost like him after being in a shoot out and dying- she basically looks like Jessica rabbit with her hair covering her eye that got blasted up-

diabla and rosa are (or used) to be siamese twins, however, due to their parents seeing this “deformed demon girl” (referring to diabla) conjoined on rosa’s body, they immediately had the surgery done and was going to throw her away somewhere to basically rot and die, they did not want the “other one” (that being diabla yet again) to ruin the beauty of their now favorite daughter. however, the grandmother basically had them give her the child in which the baby girl was named “diabla”, a name that is the feminine version of “diablo”, it translates to “devil” or in this case, “she-devil”.

rosa was raised with parents while diabla of course, was not, being with her grandmother who wasn’t that very much good either. she was treated as a maid at the age of six and was only allowed to eat scraps off a plate if she was lucky. rosa however, was a spoiled child, treated like royalty, her parents loved her and her only. sometimes diabla would see rosa but they did not have any connection up until they moved to Honey Island Swamp, their parents weren’t exactly thrilled, they preferred the city life better but this would have to do until then.
