“ the least i can do” he smiled, loving the way her whole face seemed to light up. “ i’m glad he was no trouble, he’s a very well behaved young man” amycus knew he was blessed to have such a great family, in fact he felt it every day. listening to her say how she had been thinking about him, did make him move closer, his strong arms looping around her middle. “ and i have been thinking about you all day also” he breathed out, his lips tracing patterns over her neck. it would seem his attention was firmly fixed on her, rather than the meal she had been preparing. “ perhaps, we could eat …after?” 

     She hummed in approval as his arms snaked around her waist, her feet dragging her instinctively back to press against him. “Have you, now?” she whispered, tilting her head to the side to allow his reach more skin. At his proposition, Victoria spun around in his arms, immediately wrapping her own around his neck and pressing tightly against him. “I like the sound of that,” she murmured before giving him a deep kiss, hands moving to cup his face and keep him in place.

amycus just stared at her, he wasn’t sure how this was going to end because he had never seen her so angry before, and honestly it hurt a little considering he had always just tried to make sure that they never went without. “ yes, alecto knows. she works here with me from time to time, brings my customers the potions they require to have a good time. desdemona doesn’t know, at least she doesn’t know everything” he wasn’t looking at her now, instead he was just staring down at his desk. “ well, i wouldn’t” amycus muttered, again hurt that she thought he could cheat on her, and it was that which made him even more defensive. “ if that’s what you think then there’s no point in you being here, i’m about to open up so you can go, wouldn’t want you to have to be around someone you think will cheat on you for any longer than you need to be” he grumbled, reaching for a cigar. “ i’ll stay here tonight” 

     “Alecto works here too? and-- what was that about selling potions?” Victoria snapped at him, eyes widening slightly as a single thought crossed her mind. “Oh, Amy, you’re not getting into anything illegal, are you?” she questioned him, hands resting on her hips as she watched him. Even with his eyes off of her, she still knew how hurt he must be that she didn’t believe him, but how could she after finding out years into their marriage that his business wasn’t exactly what she’d been thinking this whole time? Her expression faded into an emotionless one as he hinted that she should just leave before they opened up. “Maybe I should,” she replied dryly, shaking her head at him disappointedly before spinning around on her heels and leaving his office.

getting through a day of work was not easy when his mind was wandering back to his wife, and what they would hopefully be doing that evening. it wasn’t as if they didn’t get enough time together alone, but he knew there was a real purpose to this time, and he was hoping that he could help victoria make her dream of having another chld come true. placing his bag down in the hallway, he walked into the kitchen with a large bouquet of flowers in one hand. “ merlin, i’ve missed you” he smiled, and went over to her to give her a soft kiss, before he handed over the flowers. “ fine, busy as always, but good. how was your day, did alistair behave himself?” 

     She greeted him with a quick kiss ( knowing if she let her lips linger for too long, it wouldn’t be long until she was tugging at his clothes to rid him from them ) and smiled widely at the flowers. “These are beautiful, Amy, thank you,” she replied, finding the closest vase and placing them inside and on the kitchen counter, to decorate it for the night. “He did, he was more than cooperative,” she informed him with a proud grin, waving her wand to turn off the fire that was cooking their food. “I thought about you all day long,” she added, giving him a side-way glance as she continued to move things around in the kitchen,

“ yes, well clearly you don’t because these girls are doing nothing more than dancing, and i think you can agree they all looked pretty happy. i treat them well, victoria. they are extremely well paid, and if they were not happy they wouldn’t be here, it’s as simple as that” he continued to stare over at her. “ i didn’t lie, i just didn’t tell you what kind of bar it was. i knew you would react like this, and i can’t understand why you would considering there’s nothing particularly bad about it.” amycus decided to shut up before he put his foot in it further, but it seemed he was too late. “ no! of course i’ve not been sleeping with them. i love you, i adore you. they all know i have a wife that i don’t stop speaking about. do you really think i’d cheat on you?” 

     She didn’t know what made her the angriest: the fact that he had been lying to her all along or the fact that he was trying to justify himself; he really did think what he’d done was right. “You didn’t lie?” she hissed at him, flaring her nostrils angrily. Oh, he had another thing coming. “Does everyone know what you do for a living? Does Alecto know? Desdemona? All your friends, too? And I’m the bloody idiot wife who had no clue her husband had been lying the whole time!” she exclaimed, fighting the tears that threatened to roll down her cheeks. “I think you could,” she replied dryly, running her fingers through her hair. “How would I know? You obviously aren’t telling me everything.”

     Victoria spent the rest of the day working on the house and playing with Alistair, making sure he was awake for most of the day so he’d sleep through the night and she’d be able to spend some quality time with Amycus. She started making dinner quite early, for she wanted to distract herself and not think too hard about how badly she wanted her husband to be home already ( she wouldn’t want to look too desperate ), though when she finally heard him walk through the door, she couldn’t help with wide grin that curved her lips. Victoria had already put their son to bed so it would only be the two of them for dinner, but she wasn’t sure she’d be able to wait that long. “Welcome back, love,” she called at him from the kitchen, unable to stop herself from biting her lower lip as he walked in. “How was your day?”

“ i know it sounds ridiculous, but she’s going to ve very sought after victoria, and we should mention to desdemona about it “ he relaxed with her hands on him, moving one hand to rest over hers. “ no, i better get going. i shouldn’t be back too late today, and we can get going as soon as i’m back” am rose to his feet and turned around to loop his arms around her waist, giving her a sharp tug towards his chest. “ i can’t wait to get you all to myself tonight” amy whispered seductively against her ear, before pulling back and pecking her lips. “ mm, i’ll see you later” he smiled, before going to give his son a kiss. “ behave for mummy” 

     “We’ll talk about it later, alright?” she assured him, still finding it quite strange that he’d want to fix their son up when he was so young still. “I’ll wait up,” she replied with a warm smile, gasping slightly when he pulled her closer to his chest and nodding at his words. “I’ll see you tonight, love,” she returned his short kiss and moved back so he’d be able to walk away.

amycus wasn’t stupid, and he had known that she was bound to find out one day, but he had just pushed that reality under the rug whilst he continued to rake in the money that his club made. “ i know, look come inside “ amycus turned to head back into his office, the last thing he needed was a domestic in the middle of the hallway when he had ministry members soon to arrive. “ you’ll notice most of them are wearing next to nothing, this is a strip bar, they dance and perform for whoever wants to watch, well whoever will pay the rather hefty entrance fee. you’ll have noticed i’m sure that some of these girls are rather unique, very beautiful, and very well received by my customers” he sat down at his desk, his office looking extremely different to the rest of the bar, in here the walls were covered of pictures of his family, especially of her and their son. “ i didn’t tell you because i knew you’d react like this, but it’s not as if i am sleeping with them victoria” 

     She simply could not believe it, the fact that he had been hiding this from her for all this time; she just couldn’t wrap her mind around it. Her nostrils flared slightly and she pursed her lips when he turned around and told her to follow him into what she could only assume was his office. How dare he try and hide her from his clients! She was supposed to be his greatest pride; he’d always said he’d gotten so lucky with her and now this came to surface and simply invalidated everything he had ever told her. “I know what a bloody strip bar is, Amycus,” she told him in a warning tone, crossing her arms over her chest as she stood as close to the door as she could. She wanted to be able to storm out of there whenever she wanted to. “Of course I would react like this, you-- you’re selling these girls. And you lied about it for over a year now,” she spoke, running a hand through her hair. Her eyes widened at his words and her expression became blank. “Why would you say that? Are you sleeping with them?”

“ i know that, but he can still be taught that crying is not something we expect from the carrow boys “ he was joking, he knew he was just as prone to crying as anyone else was, even if he tried to hide it. “ you’re right , we can handle one more, or even four more. i’m pretty sure we could handle anything that came our way “ amycus leaned in to kiss his wife again. “ i’m still not sure what i did to deserve you, my love” he breathed, his fingertips caressing her velvety soft skin. “ i’ve been thinking, our son would be a good match for desdemona’s daughter, wouldn’t you say? i know it’s a bit early right  now, but we should start thinking about possible connections. “ 

     She stood up and placed Alistair on his smaller chair, fixing the belts and securing him there with a flick of her wand as he continued to speak. Victoria’s head jerked up quickly at the mention on Mona’s daughter. “Are you serious right now?” she asked him, tilting her head at his comment. “He’s barely one year old, Amycus!” she exclaimed, letting out a laugh. “We don’t have to think about that for a few years, and I’m sure they’ll be friends, at least, if that makes you happier,” she replied, standing behind him and resting her hands on his shoulders to give him a soft massage with her fingers. “Do you want anything else? More coffee?”

amycus had been working in his bar for the past twelve hours, there had been a new shipment of potions come in from his sister, and he knew his clients that evening were going to adore them. it meant though that he needed to make sure every member of his staff were prepared to sell them, and to use them effectively to ensure he got the money, and the chance to get some evidence to use as blackmail if he needed. what he had not been expecting though was any visitors, so when one of his working girls turned up to his office to tell him that his wife was here, he frowned. he knew victoria didn’t know that this was indeed a strip bar, and his girls that worked here were extremely beautiful, they had to be of course to get him as much money as he could. going to meet her, he put on a charming smile. “ what are you doing here, love? is everything okay?” 

     Victoria had never actually been to her husband’s bar; with her pregnancy the previous year and then having to take care of their son, she just hadn’t had the time nor the energy to pay him a visit, so all she knew about the place was what he told her ( which was, obviously, next to nothing ). When she managed to leave Alistair with her parents for the day, she decided it was time to meet his staff and give him a nice surprise; what she found, however, was a shock to her. That was not how he had pictured his bar to look like. She announced herself to one of the girls who greeted her at the door, her eyes widened as she contemplated the lack of clothing on her. “That girl was wearing next to nothing, Amy,” she told him as soon as he appeared through the door of his office. She couldn’t figure out if she was hurt or disappointed, or both, so her face showed an expression of mixed sadness and anger. “What is this place?” she asked her husband, eyes digging into his.

“ mm, i’m starting to wonder whether i can get someone else to do it” he laughed, reaching forwards to give her bum a slap before she disappeared. whilst she was gone he finished off his breakfast, and downed the coffee which was cool now because of her antics, but he was more than content with her little display instead. looking up once he heard her return, his smile widened as he reached out for his son. “ someone has woken up on the wrong side of the bed, just like your mother” he chuckled, ruffling up his boy’s hair. “ we won’t have anymore of that nonsense though, carrow men do not cry” amycus told him, gently rubbing the boy’s back. “ are you sure you want another one of these? crying and screaming all over the place” he teased, knowing he wouldn’t mind. 

     Victoria smiled proudly at the two of them, loving how Amycus’s face always lit up when their son was in the room ( and how Alistair grinned at his father as well ), as she took a seat beside her husband with the boy sat on her lap. “He’s just a child, Amy, he will cry,” she told him, giving him a pointed look at the nagging words he used on the boy. She caressed their son’s face and gave him a kiss on the top of his head as she hugged him close to her chest. “We can handle one more, love,” she replied, looking up at him and smiling instinctively, “I won’t mind the process of making one, either,” she added vaguely.

     “I do, yes,” she replied, choosing to ignore his previous snap as she allowed herself into his home. “How have you been?” she asked him, taking a look around curiously.

no matter what time of day it was, she always managed to get him so riled up that he couldn’t think of anything else other than having her right there and then. “ i’m glad you like that idea because it’s the only thing that is going to get me through today, knowing that when i get home i;m going to have you all to myself” he wanted to go right now but he had a few things to deal with back at the club first. as soon as she began to rock her hips against his, he let out a low, possessive growl, his fingers knotting into her long locks. “ if you keep doing that then i might have to forget what we just said and throw you onto this table instead” 

     It had become easily a habit for her to tease him ( even when she didn’t notice the effect she had on him ), and it was particularly shocking as opposed to what she used to be like. Not only did she love him endlessly, but she wasn’t afraid to show it either ( at least, not anymore ). Victoria hummed amusedly against his lips, content with his words. During the day, she was all about their son and her duties as the stay home mother she was, but at night, she allowed herself to pay him all the attention he deserved. “I thought you had to open up the bar,” she replied teasingly. She snapped back to reality, for she heard the cry of a baby from Alistair’s room; Vic shot him a playful grin and climbed down from his lap, not without giving him a small peck on her lips first. “Saved by the bell,” she joked, pointing at his breakfast for him to eat it before disappearing to their son’s room. She walked back in with the boy in her arms, soothing him until he stopped crying. “Say ‘hi’ to daddy, love,” she murmured to the boy, sitting down by Amycus’s side once more.

“ oh come on…” he groaned, but he was still smirking as he looked her up and down suggestively, she had always been able to steal his attention with the simplest of movements. “ when have you ever said no to a bit of fun in the morning, eh?” amycus continued to run his hands over her, sliding them down her sides and over her thighs. “ but you’re right , right now is probably not the best, especially with our little man no doubt waking up any second…” his gaze travelled over her lips, clearly distracted. “ i have an idea though, how about i ask alecto or desdemona to take alistair for a few nights and we head off to somewhere fancy, and hot so we can spend some time together, some intimate time” am whispered, before giving in to temptation and he leaned in to kiss her, the kiss hungry as he tugged his wife closer to his chest. “ what do you say?” 

     She loved how they were both still so head-over-heels in lust with each other, even after the wedding, even after their first son; it spoke volumes about the future of their relationship, too. Vic allowed her hands to draw irregular figures on his chest, fingers playing with the buttons of his shirt as he spoke. He was right, though: it was a bad idea to go at it when Alistair was right in the next room and could wake up at any moment, but that wouldn’t stop her from teasing him a little bit ( if anything, it would make him think of her the rest of his day ). “That sounds perfect,” she admitted, smirking at she noticed his eyes on her lips and welcoming his hungry kiss with one equally as passionate. “I can’t wait,” she whispered against his lips, unconsciously rocking her hips slightly against his.

“ you don’t know all of my staff, some of them are barely capable of turning up let alone actually opening the establishment” but he decided that arguing with her was pointless, she would no doubt win after all. amycus watched the way she bit her lip, it had him wondering what on earth it could be but before he could urge her on she had let it slip. “ another baby?” he questioned, a little shocked she would want another so soon, or at least it seemed soon but it was certainly not something they had never thought of. “ i would love another child, and if you’re ready for us to start trying for another right now then i am more than willing to aid you in that” am cheekily winked at her, pulling her closer again so he could kiss along the side of her neck. “ what has made you want one so suddenly?” 

     She was scared he’d think it was too soon or he simply wouldn’t want another child, so his words soothed her ( and his lips on her skin had her sighing in pleasure as they gently ghosted over her skin ). “I didn’t mean right now...” she whispered, allowing her hand to slide up and rest on the back of his neck before adding in a murmur, “But I’m not complaining.” Victoria licked her lips in mere anticipation, though she made a thoughtful sound at his question. It hadn’t been sudden if she was being honest; she had been thinking about it for a while now, and simply hadn’t been able to control herself any longer. “I love you, and I want a family, I always have... And we always said we’d have many children and-- now’s as good a time as any.”

Desdemona managed to wipe the frown from her pretty features, replacing it with an apologetic smile. “I’m sorry.” She replied as she spun around gracefully before embracing the other, kissing both cheeks. “I’ve been followed every evening this week by reporters and I’m beginning to grow paranoid.”

     She welcomed her friend with a hug as well as kisses on both her cheeks before pulling back and looking her up and down. “You look fancier than usual, what’s the occasion? Any Minister you have to welcome to our lovely country?”

“ i know, you’re too good for me, always spoiling me rotten” amycus smirked over at her, of course he wouldn’t swap her for the world. he frowned when she pulled away the newspaper, but welcomed her onto his lap, his arms wrapping around her waist. “ well go ahead, i’m all ears” amycus brought her closer to his chest, his lips connecting with hers, before he pulled back so he could listen to what she had to say properly. “ come on vic, i’ve got work to get to you know” 

     Victoria welcomed his lips on hers warmly, though she too pulled back to give him a pointed look as he rushed her. “The bar can open without you once,” she told him with a hum, as she shifted on his lap into a more comfortable position. “Well, I’ve been thinking...” she started, biting her lip nervously before clearing her throat and continuing, “And I think we should... Have another baby...” she trailed off, eyes fixed on his to see his most immediate reaction.
