âi liked fit girls.. you go in there.â heâd always claim that he was definitely her type, regardless if she said otherwise or not. he didnât care. heâd always be beyond full of himself. if any little thing was different in either of their lives, this wouldnât have been happening. or it could have been if they both stayed in their familyâs good books. âi donât know if iâm going to be out of the country or not this week. i just know we gotta get some bastards.â sirius shrugged, stopping at the short line for the ferris wheel. âhopefully it wonât take long. but donât worry, iâm not running away from you.. as much as that would be absolutely brilliant.â
âthatâs a vague category, black. very shallow of you. what about the girls personality, hm?â desdemonaâs lips curve in a wry smile then, a note of teasing to her voice. âlooks wise, had you washed your hair at all, you might have been mine.â every now and then she did have to throw him a small bone. lest he get sick of the constant pokes and jabs. she leans against the railings of the queue then, a clearly dissatisfied look on her face as she tilts her head back to look at him. âi donât like when you leave the country. maybe auror isnât the job for you, have you considered being a barman?â she aims an elbow at his ribs then, âfuck off.â

âThree,â he confirmed with a slight smile. âI mean, I do study and look after Dragons, so theyâre a step down from that. Plus, I have an infinity for dogs.â Allenâs Patronus was also a golden retriever which his parents always said was his spirit animal. âOf course,â he replied softly. âItâs absolutely pointless but then I wasnât one to make that choice. Rocket is more of my godsonâs dog and he wanted that. After his mother passed, I canât say no.â
âhow do you have the time?â the thought of all that work outside of a job alone was enough to make her nauseous. no thanks, give her the easiest way out or nothing at all.âright. kids.â again, not something she was a fan off. fine with them until they hit four at most. then just about everything they did got on her last nerves, and sheâd much rather avoid them altogether. âguess thatâs a kids job. to get whatever they want.â

â  OF COURSE not â desperate people cannot afford to be so fickle.  â  it wasnât that he cared tremendously about the fact that mona had yet to declare allegiance to the dark lord, but such things could be brought up for the sake of mere amusement. â  something a little more international, perhaps? less british, at the very least. but i donât know what i expected from you, mona, you always SETTLE.  â  Â
âyouâre an ass. hasnât anyone told you that school is over yet?â it was ties like this one that left the witch stuck in the middle. neutral ground. no matter how much she denied her belief in such twisted morals, nostalgia left her clinging to the people she grew up with. ensure she could never cross over to the good, not truly. âi do not.â her back straightens then, offence puckering the former slytherins lips. âi would deem following the obvious path to be settling.â

As he listened to her, he couldnât help but laugh. Just the mental image of the man asking her out on a date and her declining. It was the most hilarious thing and he knew that it must have stung. But he didnât really care all that much. âGood thing I have all the money I need. That way I donât have to be approached by men who doesnât deserve my attentionâ he shrugged. âMhm well I have never been into sports either. But I have a feeling he might say yes because itâs youâ
âoh, look at you. mr money bags.â she retorts, but thereâs a playful lilt to her voice and sheâs grinning. hint of pride in her dark eyes that she doesnât express nearly enough. âdoesnât matter how rich you are though, free stuff is always nice.â mona smirks then, because heâs probably right. sheâll win him around eventually. âiâm sure if i beg. weâll see. otherwise the logical solution would be to bring someone to make him jealous.â

âYeah, itâs worth seeing the entire auror division lose their shit when he storms out of his office demanding his stuff.â Thomas smiled ear-to-ear, that had been a good week. Shrugging, he nodded âI guess I gotta start trying not to work my head off.â
âyouâre preaching to the wrong crowd. guess that must be auror humour because iâm passing on the pissed off boss.â she comments with a slight smile. her relatively short tenure in an office had left her not wanting to rush back. âsounds like a nice place to start. what about a holiday for the weekend?â
rosaliazabiniâ
Rosalia raised her perfectly manicured eyebrows at Mona, âWhat are you implying there, Desdemona?â
âi think itâs pretty obvious what iâm implying.â desdemona rolls her eyes then. âbut clearly even that was lost on you.â

âyou can keep pretending you didnât fancy me in school.. but youâre lying.â sirius shrugged, his thumb brushing against the back of her hand as he directed them towards the ferris wheel. the only difference between him and that scruffy looking teenager was the tattoos he was covered in. he had a lot more of them now. ââso weâre going back to my place after then?â he grinned, it widening in his usual cheeky manner. ânah, we can do whatever you like for the night. i just know iâm working for the next week non-stop so iâll not be able to bring you out anywhere for a while so.. consider this date night.â
âmaybe youâre just far too confident, you really werenât my type.â she glances sideways, arching an eyebrow. âdonât worry, i donât think i was really yours either.â much of her was still the same from school, not all that different spare a few details. it was strange to think how different things would have been had she stayed with her family. this certainly wouldnât have happened. mona snorts, âif you want to leave iâll be right behind you. ferris wheel and home sounds ideal.â her brows pull together then, swinging his hand loosely at her side. âall week? so i wonât see you at all?â

BONE DRY and droll as ever, antoninâs mouth tugs up at the corner as if pulled by a string. â  oh, you shouldnât have. the QUAFFLEPUNCHERS, how could i resist?  â calloused digits wrap around the smooth ceramic of the mug, but he has little interest in taking a sip and is far more taken by its warmth. â  tickets to a game, mona, really? if that is all you could get from the poor boy, youâre losing your touch.  â
dark eyes roll, resting her chin on a propped up fist as she abandons the truly dire coffee. âif youâve got the time, iâll happily list every single person who would fall above you. desperation isnât my colour.â a soft tut falls from her lips. perfectly groomed brow arching, clearly not about to share in the others amusement. âthey happen to be my favourite team, dolohov. what would you have considered a successful offer?â
With her hands shoved deep down into the pockets of her knee-length black coat, the raven haired beauty was leaning against the wall as she was observing her surroundings. The night had barely fallen yet the streets of London were completely empty, void of any presence except of hers and perhaps, of some rat or two. Lightly chuckling to herself, she knew it was only the beginning.âMy, my, look what the cat dragged in,â she spoke as her eyes had fallen on the other.
the shoot had been long and hardly worth the pay. but beggars could hardly be chooses, especially not when rent was due by the end of the week. rather than apparate, sheâd decided to walk the short distance, something she quickly came to regret when another made themselves known. âitâs a little late for pleasantries, windsor.â the last time sheâd been caught unawares in the middle night, sheâd landed a night in the hospital, she wasnât keen to make the same mistake. âwhatâs got you lurking?â

alice groans in disapointment at the otherâs words. â ugh- i knew it! of course theyâd try to ruin some kind of fun with these kind of tricky charms.â she shakes her head as she looks at her small plushie then back to the otherâs dragon. â nah, i wonât ever compare my charm to yours-surely itâs impossible for me to get one. thanks for telling me though. it was worth a shot.â
âtricks make for more fun if you ask me.â after seeing a grown man blow galleons trying to get the very same prize mona now clutched, you couldnât help garner satisfaction. desdemona shrugs then, hands twisting the tail of the plush dragon thoughtfully. âyou might as well give it a go. who knows, they might have a thing for hufflepuffs.â
rosaliazabini
Rosalia looked up at Mona, wondering why on earth it looked like she wanted to talk to someone who was recently disowned. âCan I help you?â
a laugh leaves her painted lips, settling on bemused as she arches a finely groomed brow in retaliation. her fall from grace was still a sore subject, but she did so delight in the disgust of former peers. âabsolutely not. but should i ever need advice on how to bump off every single man in a four mile radius, iâll be sure to give you a shout.â

Cocking one of his eyebrows up as he listened to his sister speak, he then sighed. âMen. Sometimes they are just.. so predictableâ he said and smirked. âBut that also sounds like the most boring date ever. And he thought he would get some fun afterwards? Tragicâ he added with a tongue pop, shaking his head as he laughed softly. âSo are you gonna take Sirius to the game?â
âterribly so. not that iâd have said yes to anything of course, but a little effort wouldnât have gone amiss.â her delicate shoulders shift then in a shrug, laying the coffee aside. âi like the idea of seeing a match for a date, they are my favourite team, but he was truly atrocious looking. you should have seen him, laur, sometimes money really isnât enough.â she quips with an amused smirk. mona shakes her head then, âhe doesnât seem all that into it. iâll ask but i think it might take some bribery on my part.â

âIâve currently got three Golden Retrievers but Iâve owned Dobermans before now.â Allen has always looked after dogs - it was practice for looking after Dragons. His parents preferred the dogs to Dragons though. Allen adored all creatures except for Kneazles as they looked a bit evil to him. âScout here loves her neckerchiefs but Rocket likes anything. I donât have any fairy wings or tutus in his box though. Just Dragon costumes; more fantasy type to be honest. And each to their own,â though he only recently dabbled in these costumes. It was more Felixâs idea to dress up Rocket; the dog was very compliant when it came to such a hobby.
âthree?â another eyebrow raise. âmines some small thing and even thatâs enough running around for me.â the dog had been a surprise addition to the household ( sheâd never been the caring sort afterall, itâs a wonder her cat from school had lasted as long as it had ), but still a welcome one. most of the time. âiâll be straight with you,â the french witch was rarely anything but, âdressing up dogs like dolls sounds insanely pointless to me.â of talents she had few. but brutal honesty, if one could call it talent, she was certainly best at.

âAh, wonder why I didnât notice this earlier.â Fei could kick herself for not seeing it before. She could be halfway drunk by now. âIt sounds like theyâre trying their best to keep the people away from the actual truth.â
âthat or they just donât want everyone getting smashed at a ministry branded event.â a ridiculous attempt. theyâd just been through war, what person in their right mind wasnât going to drink to that? âreally not that hard to find though. maybe you just need to start bringing your own.â
